The Gramophone Awards in London yesterday turned out to be a big night for Erato … We came away with four awards: Label of the Year; Recording of the Year for Jean Rondeau’s landmark Louis Couperin project – also recipient of the Instrumental award, and Bertrand Chamayou and Leif Ove Andsnes won the Piano award for ‘Schubert 4 Hands’. As ever, Erato will continue to keep artists front and centre! by @alainlanceron

Merci Maestro! by @alainlanceron

It was a pleasure to talk to James Jolly, in the June issue of Gramophone Magazine, about the 50+ years I’ve spent in the world of classical recording. It’s been quite a ride- and I do hope that the ride will continue. Over all that time, my enthusiasm for my work has never faltered: what could be better than a job that lets you live out your passion for music? by @alainlanceron

Still a little hard to believe, honestly.

Thank you to the French Republic for this incredible honour. France has given me so much — not only your music, but a place that has truly felt like a second home.

I still remember arriving here barely speaking a word of French… and somehow now I end up here…still trying! 😅

Merci for welcoming me, supporting me, and trusting me with this beautiful repertoire. I’ll keep working hard and doing my best to be worthy of this honour.

Merci ❤️

Merci ❤️ taken in Théâtre des Champs-Elysées by @alainlanceron

You can get a lot done if you spend 53 years with the same company!
It was a great honour to receive the IAMA Award in recognition of the contribution I’ve been able to make to the world of classical music, and it was a pleasure to join the delegates at the 2026 conference of the International Artist Managers’ Association, which took place in Tallinn.
