Sadly we weren’t able to go ahead with our concert this evening, as it was untenably hot onstage. I am so grateful to the musicians and backstage teams who tried every possible solution to make the performance possible. Unfortunately, in spite of all our efforts, we had to prioritise health above all. Grateful to have been able to celebrate the last 6 years all week, with the best colleagues and friends. Rouen has taught me so much and I will always be grateful for the journey that we have undertaken together. Starting with a pandemic and ending with a heatwave almost seems fitting. Thank you and à bientôt ❤️

We have another knight in our midst! 🇫🇷✨

2025 Laureate @pene.pati received a Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (a French knighthood) in Paris last week recognising his extraordinary contribution to arts and culture.

An exceptional voice. A magnetic presence. And we can't get enough of that smile. Pene – you are a force. Congratulations!

Still a little hard to believe, honestly.

Thank you to the French Republic for this incredible honour. France has given me so much — not only your music, but a place that has truly felt like a second home.

I still remember arriving here barely speaking a word of French… and somehow now I end up here…still trying! 😅

Merci for welcoming me, supporting me, and trusting me with this beautiful repertoire. I’ll keep working hard and doing my best to be worthy of this honour.

Merci ❤️

Merci ❤️
