Ògún Worship Day Greetings

Ògún blesses his devotees with many things, and among them, wealth is at the top of the list.

Ògún possesses the power to transform something raw and unrefined, into something of great value. Creating vital resources that everyone needs. Through this transformation, he generates wealth using his bare hands and his creativity.

He is one of the greatest forces for transformation that exists.

When we are looking to become greater than who we are right now, we should tap into the resources, the power, and the spiritual energy of Ògún to transform ourselves the same way he transforms raw material into riches. by @alaje256

Our Òrìṣà are powerful. They have the ability to completely transform our lives. But what makes their power even greater is when we are actively involved in our own transformation.

We can utilize our Orí, our spiritual head, to guide us in orchestrating our strategy for success. We set everything into place, then call on the Òrìṣà to be the spiritual power and energy that makes the entire strategy come to fruition.

Think of dominoes, carefully set up in a design, each one positioned to knock down the next. We use our Orí to set up and organize the dominoes. The only thing we need is for our Òrìṣà to knock down that very first one.

Once that first domino falls, everything else follows exactly as our Orí designed it.

Connect your Orí and your Òrìṣà, allow them to work together, and watch them generate the success you’re seeking by knocking down that very first domino that will unlock all of your potential blessings. by @alaje256

Ancestor Worship Day Greetings

Ancestor communion is a tremendous contribution to the consciousness of African people globally.

It tells us exactly where our strength lies. It unites us all as a people, because it unites us with our true source of power, the lineage that lives within our very blood.

For generations, our ancestors have carried wisdom through time, waiting for us to turn toward them, to listen, to remember.

Communion is so powerful because it is not a one time ritual. It is an ongoing relationship built through offerings, prayer, and dedication. The simple act of speaking their names invokes more than you can ever imagine.

When we commune with our ancestors, we restore a connection that colonization, displacement, and oppression tried to sever. We reclaim access to guidance that was always meant to be ours.

This practice is not reserved for the few. It belongs to every person of African descent, wherever they stand in the world. Whether you are deeply rooted in tradition or just beginning to ask where you come from, your ancestors are already listening, already waiting to respond.

Speak your Ancestors names today and let know they are not forgotten. by @alaje256

Here is an all-star performance with artists who are still cultural bearers today.

2007, at the Shrine of the Black Madonna in Atlanta, Georgia.

Featuring:

Chief Ifasola Odunade @chief_sola16_atl_elemoso_awo

Munir Zakee @munirzakee

Baba Anifalaje Odunade @babafalaje

Kebbie Williams @kebbiwilliams

Iya Omiyale Tambra Harris @mstambraharris

Invest in your culture, and you will reap the rewards forever.

Money comes and goes. Trends fade. What's popular today is forgotten tomorrow. But culture, true culture, rooted in lineage, ritual, and the ancestors, never expires.

When you invest time learning your culture, you gain access to wisdom that took generations to refine. When you invest energy preserving your traditions, you become a living bridge between your ancestors and today. When you pass it on and teach others, you multiply the return a thousand times over, long after you have become an ancestor as well.

This is not an economic investment with a quarterly return. It is a generational inheritance. It compounds in your children, in your community, in every person who finds their way back to who they are because you refused to let the memory of our ancestors fade.

Culture is the one inheritance that can never be taken from you, and the one gift you can never stop giving.

Invest in your culture today. The return on your investment is eternal.

THE HEALING POWER OF AFRICAN DANCE

African dance is more than movement.

African cultures has a special relationship with dance. It is used to heal the body.

Here are a few methods our ancestors used dance to healer the body.

DANCE RECONNECTS YOU TO YOUR BODY
Grounded movement brings you out of your head and back into your body.

DANCE REGULATES EMOTION THROUGH RHYTHM
The drum gives the body rhythm, repetition and structure. This regulates the emotion and the spirit in a health way.

DANCE CREATES A PHYSICAL RELEASE
Shaking, stepping, jumping and full-body movement give trapped emotion somewhere to move.

So when ever you feel like you need some physical our emotional healing into the power of the body. by @alaje256

Èṣù Worship Day Greetings

Èṣù has a special relationship with children.

Èṣù himself is playful, youthful in spirit, never taking life too seriously, even while carrying the weight of the world on his head.

He teaches us to keep joy alive, even in the middle of struggle. We must find happiness, find time to play, find lightness in everything, just as a child can find the simplest thing to play with, laugh with, smile over, even in the midst of stress and challenges.

We must stay in tune with that young spirit within us. When we do, we experience the most joyful version of life that the creator has to offer.

Ògún Worship Day Greetings

Ògún is known to walk with a machete for many different reasons.

He uses the blade to protect his people. He uses the blade to conduct his offerings. He uses the blade to generate food. He uses the blade to cut away anything blocking his path. He uses the blade as a symbol of the great warrior and hunter that he is.

When you need assistance in any of these areas of your life, call upon Ògún, and he can provide for you in many different ways. He can protect you. He can feed you. He can help you with your offerings. He can cut away the obstacles standing in front of your path. He can be a shield against negativity.

He is so much to so many, and this is why we call him Baba, Father.

Call him today, and watch the blessings manifest.
