2 years of my life in a minute and a half :~)
I recently finished the sketchbook I started in August of 2024 and I am so happy and proud! This book found me coming into a completely new chapter of self hood where I was in between two completely different timelines of my existence. I was in addiction, heartbreak, sadness and confusion. Doodling was one of the secrets I had tucked away over a span of years to fill my void with other bad habits, and when I returned to myself in my new timeline I took it back up again. This sketchbook has been with me through both happy and sad nights alone, moments in and after medicine journeys, moments after meditation, and moments where my feelings were too strong I didn’t have thoughts to spin them into. Doodling has allowed me to take back parts of myself that I thought I had lost completely. It’s allowed me to power up, move my energy, and restore balance to my being. I haven’t finished a sketchbook since I was 18, so this is an exciting feat for me :’)

Yesterday I hung up my Autumnal wreath to welcome in the first day of Autumn :’) As of yesterday I am also officially halfway through my 29th year, and each year I feel more empowered and in awe of the way my own life cycles sync up with the cycles of the Universe.
