Last night at Queer Film Marathon Tirana, we screened SMALLTOWN BOY – JIMMY SOMERVILLE, directed by Olivier Simonnet. 🎬🏳️‍🌈

A powerful journey through the life, music and activism of Jimmy Somerville — celebrating a voice that became a symbol of freedom, resilience and pride for generations of LGBTQ+ people.

The screening was followed by a special panel discussion with the producer Olivier Simonnet, Nathalie Joly, Kandi Shlamaj and Alban Nimani, moderated by Irena Topalli, bringing together cinema, music, art and queer history.

With the support of the Embassy of France in Albania. 🇫🇷

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this beautiful evening of cinema, memory and resistance. ❤️
