You can’t have Oktoberfest without smoked brats and beer cheese. Sweet and smokey sausages with that perfect snap, a little summer sausage just for fun, a pretzel bun toasted on the flattop and that mouthwatering beer cheese to bring it all together because….. 🍺 + 🧀 = 🔥🙌🔥🙌 by @alchemygrills

Here’s the most important how-to video when it comes to your Alchemy, how to get it going for the first time. The first fire is the most important because it sets up your grill for all future cooks. Here’s a few tips:

Tip 1: you can build your fire in the centre pit without having to move your fuel around

Tip 2: you can use a combination of wood, charcoal, lumps, briquettes, whatever works for you

Tip 3: you can light your grill and smoker simultaneously

Tip 4: make sure you have canola oil and paper towel or a rag on hand to season your grill

A huge huge shoutout to the team @barbequeproinc for taking on this beast - @chefmattbasile’s Alchemy Pro. Chef Matt’s Alchemy has seen it all over the past three years - demos, festivals, private dinners, hundreds if not thousands of hours of cooking, and you could tell 😅

The Barbeque Pro team brought this grill back to life so of course chef Matt had to fire up the grill immediately to cook the first burgs of the season for them. These French Onion Soup Burgers were 🔥🔥

Thanks team @barbequeproinc!!!

The Alchemy flattop makes the perfect seared scallop, every time. Baste with butter for an extra fiery flare or use a bit of oil, either way you’ll get that beautiful brown sear and buttery interior.

Lobster bisque hot rolls on the Alchemy. Steam the lobster on the elevated rack in a stainless steel steamer with aromatics, use the lobster shells for the bisque, then the lobster meat goes into the bisque and into the smoker for a hit of smokey flavour and then gets stuffed into a buttery top cut brioche bun. Yum 🦞🔥
