It’s hard to quantify or talk about exactly what I do over the internet. Especially because it’s a years long journey. But I’m always so proud of my clients. So often the fashion industry takes hold of us filling us with empty promises. Look, even to this day I make mistakes with my own wardrobe but you have power. Ask questions of yourself, of the objects you bring into your home, and put on your body. Whether it’s a thrift find or designer. It’s all within you. Things are just the expression of that energy. You are the star. Remember that!

@imisaacmizrahi is so rigorous and serious about fashion and yet there’s a release in it. It’s everything and nothing. It’s an important lesson in how to navigate this crazy industry.
My dearest @andreltalley thank you for being a pioneer. In my twenties it felt like I could never fill those shoes. But I think the lesson is to walk in your power and don’t let anyone get in your way.
I never realized your birthdays are so close together. So how fitting that I was prepared to capture this exchange from Unzipped which just reappeared in theaters for a limited run.
If you ask me this is one of the top fashion documentaries of all time. I can watch it happy or sad. The story of triumph helps ease my mind. The representation these men offer follow me everyday. by @aldenljackson

Oddly; tee shirts and jeans are probably the fussiest things about my wardrobe. Okay I’m fussy about it all but more than likely my jeans are vintage. Whether they are nonstretch or soft modern just something about them I get tired of them. I have one pair of ripped up wide leg modern jeans I refuse to get rid of.
Tees can be from anywhere and I have them from vintage to Jil Sander and everything in between but I’m very particular. It’s not unusual for me to spend $50 on a plain tee.
I just like how simple it seems yet the amount of effort I put into looking like I’m not trying. I was actually trying on and sending pictures to a friend about what size tee to get.
You guys also get a kick out of the white tees and jeans pics and I also go hunting for this fitting room pic so I thought it finally deserved to live on page. Let’s fuss about your jeans and tees. DM me or email alden@aldenljackson.com by @aldenljackson
