i don’t think i can accurately describe the impact dance has had on my life. i’ve given my time, energy, tears, and sweat to my team. the friendships i’ve formed are irreplaceable. i’ve learned so many lessons that i will carry with me for the rest of my life. i will, undoubtedly, miss dancing. but i will miss my teammates and teachers more. my deepest gratitude to sophia and alysa who adapted to my injury and never complained (to my face anyways). naturally, i have to thank my family who drove me to competitions for ten seasons and dealt with my dressing room fits. thank you to my team for giving me a place to belong. love y’all. live fast die young bad girls do it well <3
