Recently, I was invited to attend a men’s mental health retreat, the group included CEOs, founders, influencers, artists, chefs, and mental health professionals - guys from all different backgrounds, and every single one had a story to share.

Men often struggle with expressing what’s really going on beneath the surface. We’re conditioned to internalize rather than verbalize, to “handle it” rather than process it. Being in a place where everyone put the ego aside and spoke honestly might’ve been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.

I know firsthand how serious mental health can be. Being in a space where you could talk without judgment, knowing every person there is going through something, was powerful. It reminded me how important it is for us to open up and express what we’re carrying.
