Iceland’s Highlands are the dream for 4x4 adventures, and this waterfall crossing is along one of Iceland’s designated F-roads.

A reminder for anyone visiting: driving off road is illegal in Iceland. The Highlands are incredibly fragile, and Iceland’s vegetation can take decades, or even longer to recover from damage.

Always stick to designated roads and trails, follow signs and closures, and never attempt a river crossing if you’re unsure about the conditions.

What inspires you to travel?

For me, the answer goes much deeper than simply wanting to see beautiful places.

Growing up, traveling was a luxury my family couldn’t afford it. I never realized what I was missing until my first high school trip abroad to England.

That trip changed everything, meeting new people, experiencing a different culture, and seeing landscapes so unlike those back home in Hungary opened my eyes. It amazed me that a place only a few hours away could feel like a completely different world.

Since that trip I became obsessed with Geography. I spent hours highlighting all the beautiful places I wanted to visit one day. I had no idea how I’d make it happen I just knew I wanted to see, and experience as much of the world as I could.

4 years ago, I bought a one way ticket to the States with nothing but an “I’ll figure it out” mindset.

Since then, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel full-time, photographing places I once only dreamed about. And the more I travel, the longer my bucket list becomes. There are still so many incredible places left to explore, and I’m excited to share them with you through my camera.

So now I’m curious…

Have you ever seen a tractor going into the ocean?

Lupine is the reason why we are here.

This colorful weed made me plan my life and travels around it’s blooming season.

3 months ago @alecramosnv and I landed in New Zealand with one crazy idea. Buy a van and explore Aotearoa. While there are 2 months remaining, we’ve already got to experience some of the greatest places on earth. All the while accomplishing my goal of watching this weed bloom, has brought the most joy of all.
