We had our first date 8 years ago at some random ass vegan restaurant in Silverlake and i remember you ordered these jackfruit tacos and you didn’t eat them for 2 reasons - one, they were disgusting and two, you were too nervous to eat. I couldn’t have even imagined that day that - flash forward - we would be living together across the country doing life together like this. Brady Constantine you’re my favorite person ever oh my goddddddd thank you supporting me to always be the best version of myself. And understanding me without judgement ever bc I’m kinda nuts. I usually miss it bc I frequently wake up and don’t know what current month we’re in but happy anniversary … this year it’s on the grid lover by @alecstuart_

This is not just a cute picture of me and a baby this is a cute picture of a godfather and his new godson Marcelo bc my sister of 30+ years did a really wild thing that I never thought she would do - and honestly I don’t think she ever thought she would do - and brought this little angel into the world. And I am filled with emotion. And this is the beginning of so many adventures. How @brooke_smallfarma and I both ended up here in Portland, Maine after a life pinballed between Philadelphia / New York / Japan / Hawaii / California / Rhode Island still boggles my mind. And yet it totally makes sense. The world is nuts but this chosen family has such a solid foundation here. My god this kid is going to be surrounded by so much love. by @alecstuart_

Rest in loving peace Bruce, the absolute goat. I had 15 years and seven months with the best ride or die I could have ever asked for. Grief is so real I think I’m just going to blow up all 2,872 pictures I have of this angel and turn my home into a living memorial bc my god how lucky am I to have experienced this kind of love. We’ll find each other again someday .. you’re such a good boy by @alecstuart_

Packing up my parents for retirement part II… oof back to back posts but the feelings are feeling. Growing up your environment is just your normal but I guess most people don’t grow up in houses with copies of the constitution and environmental crime statute books just strewn about. Packing up my mom’s home office deserves a big moment of pause and documentation .. bc whoa, what a badass. And I’m not even going to go into the dismantling of the EPA but seriously good luck to us all! At least corps will be making more money without the headache of regulation so that’s good I guess. Ma you didn’t do this all in vain by @alecstuart_

Emotional times clearing out decades of my parents life as they enter into a more simple chapter back in the city. The unexpected plot twist was getting to my dad’s closet realizing that I’ve never given him enough credit for being more than a little iconic. From the overcoat that’s serving BIG insider trading energy, to the 90’s north face Gore-Tex shell that he bought bootleg on a trip to china for 40 bucks (obsessed), to the Alaska era merch and 80’s L.L.Bean … I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree by @alecstuart_
