12 years later, I finally found gold in Glasgow. 🥇🐉🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

To everyone who has supported me along the way- Diolch o galon. What a journey it’s been.

Gold is the foundation. The next phase is where we step up. 🚀

Huge honour to be awarded an OBE.

Over the last 18 years I’ve strived to push the boundaries of my sport and showcase elite competition.

Here’s to being a fine wine and continuing to pave my own path. taken in Windsor Castle by @aleddavies2012

Aled Siôn Davies

Three-time Paralympic champion. Multiple World Champion. Two-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist.

One of the greatest throwers Welsh sport has ever produced. Shot put. Discus. Pure class.

He has just added another Commonwealth gold in Glasgow 2026. Still delivering. Still flying the red.
Legend. 🥇🐉 by @aleddavies2012

Aled Davies added to his legacy as one of Wales' most decorated athletes defending his Commonwealth Games title last night.
