Tuvimos un buen fin de semana en Monza!

Tras unas sólidas sesiones de entrenamientos libres, el sábado logramos la pole, la victoria y vuelta rápida en la carrera 1 🚀

En la carrera 2 tuvimos un toque con un rival en la primera curva. Esto nos provocó algunos daños que afectaron al balance y rendimiento del coche, haciéndonos complicado mantener el mismo ritmo que habíamos mostrado todo el fin de semana.

Pese a todo, pudimos aguantar y lograr un tercer puesto con el que sumamos buenos puntos para el campeonato🏁

Con ganas del último meeting de la temporada en Barcelona, los días 12-13 de octubre 💪🏻

We had a good weekend in Monza!

After some solid free practice sessions, on Saturday we achieved pole position, victory and fastest lap in race 1 🚀.

In race 2 we had contact with a rival in the first corner. This caused us some damage that affected the balance and performance of the car, making it difficult for us to maintain the same pace we had shown all weekend.

Nevertheless, we were able to hold on for third place and score good points for the championship🏁

We are looking forward to the last meeting of the season in Barcelona, on 12-13 October 💪🏻

¡Lo logramos! Campeones del McLaren Trophy Europe 2024 🏆🏆👊🏻

Vaya fin de semana más especial en Barcelona 🇪🇸

En la carrera 1, nos vimos sorprendidos por la lluvia y nos hicimos con la victoria🥇. Y en la carrera 2, lideramos hasta el cambio de piloto, pero el hándicap de 7 segundos en la parada nos relegó a la 2ª posición🥈

Llevarnos el título en el meeting de casa ha sido realmente único, y es una verdadera satisfacción ver que todo el trabajo y esfuerzo invertido en esta temporada ha dado sus frutos.

No tengo más que palabras de agradecimiento para el equipo @mclarenbarcelona @smcmotorsport_ por el impecable trabajo de todos los integrantes, mecánicos e ingenieros que nos han acompañado esta temporada.

También destacar la gran labor y compromiso de mi compañero @gonzalodeandres, ha sido un placer compartir contigo tantos buenos momentos.

Especial mención a todos mis patrocinadores por apoyarme en este trayecto, a mi familia por estar siempre ahí, y a @mclaren.customerracing por todo 🙏🏻

We did it! McLaren Trophy Europe 2024 Champions 🏆🏆👊🏻

What a special weekend in Barcelona 🇪🇸

In race 1, we were surprised by the rain and took the win🥇. And in race 2, we led until the driver change, but the 7 seconds handicap at the stop made us fall back to 2nd position🥈

To take the title at our home meeting was truly unique, and it is a real satisfaction to see that all the work and effort invested this season has paid off.

I have nothing but words of gratitude for the @mclarenbarcelona @smcmotorsport_ team for the impeccable work of all the members, mechanics and engineers who have worked with us this season.

I would also like to highlight the great work and commitment of my teammate @gonzalodeandres. It has been a pleasure to share with you so many good moments.

Victoria en la carrera 1 de Spa🏆

Ha sido una buena forma de empezar el fin de semana en este mítico circuito. Estoy súper agradecido a todos los que han hecho esto posible. Gracias como siempre a todo el equipo @smcmotorsport_ por el trabajo impecable y enhorabuena a mi compi @gonzalodeandres por su buen primer stint.

Bittersweet end to our Barcelona weekend 🇪🇸

After finishing P2 in race 1, things were looking good for the win on Sunday’s race 2.

Qualifying was cancelled due to bad weather, so we had to start from P10 and managed to climb up to P2 overall and P1 in class before the pit stop.

My teammate Erik went out and kept the lead with a great stint but, with 5 minutes left, made a small mistake and went to the gravel, which meant we couldn’t continue. Unfortunate, but these things can happen.

Not the end we wanted but we’re still in the lead of the championship and there are plenty of positives to take from the weekend.

A big thank you to the whole @alfab_racing team for doing a great job once again and everyone who supports me 🙌🏻

We’ll keep pushing for the last round at Portimão in 2 weeks 👊🏻💪🏻

P2 on debut in the International GT Open 🏆

A great way to finish the weekend at Hockenheim in a tricky Race 2, with both dry and wet conditions 🌦️

Stepping into a new championship, a new team, and a new car-track combination, we knew it wasn’t going to be an easy weekend. But we made progress every session and came away with solid P5 and P2 overall finishes across the two races.

A huge thank you to the whole @greystonegt team and my teammate @mckenzy.cresswell_racing for their superb job throughout the weekend 🙌

DOUBLE PODIUM IN HOCKENHEIM 🥈🥉

In the final race of the weekend Car #44 of McKenzy & Alejandro brought it home in P2, with Car #33 of Zac & Dean in P3. Car 24 of Andrey & Oli crossed the line P7 in Pro-Am 👏

The weather certainly kept things interesting, but the team delivered the goods - Next up we’ve got Monza. Let’s do it all again!🤞

Greystone updates the driver line-up for its second Pro car ahead of Hockenheim‼️🆕🧑‍🚀🧑‍🚀

Behind the wheel of the team’s #44 McLaren will be two McLaren Juniors: McKenzy Cresswell, who already knows the championship well and has even stood on the podium, will be joined by Alejandro Geppert, who is set to make his championship debut.

The Spanish driver has made a name for himself in recent years in the McLaren Trophy, winning the Artura Trophy in 2024.

Solid weekend at Misano

Pole position, fastest lap in both races and x2 P2 finishes in class which give us good points to keep the lead in the championship 🏆

On Saturday, despite starting P16 and having a 10 second handicap in the pit stop, we managed to finish P4 overall and P2 in class.

In Race 2, things were looking good after keeping the lead and building a gap, but we were unlucky with a safety car which made us lose the options for the win.

Thanks to everyone at team @alfab_racing for all the work this weekend, and congrats to my teammate Erik for all the progress he made at a new track for him 💪🏻

Now it’s time to recharge batteries before the next race on home soil: Barcelona, 2-4 October 🇪🇸

Special weekend at Spa! 🇧🇪

Double win and fastest lap of the race which extends our championship lead 🏆

Yesterday my teammate Erik did a great job in Qualifying and Race 1 which put us in a good spot to get the win.

Unfortunately, an issue in Qualifying 2 meant I couldn’t set a lap time, forcing us to start Race 2 from the back of the grid. But we managed to fight our way through to take P1 in class and fastest lap of the race.

Being awarded Driver of the Weekend made it even more special.

This couldn’t have been possible without the hard work and commitment from everyone involved at @alfab_racing. Let’s keep pushing! 🚀

Next stop: Misano, 17-19 July 🇮🇹

Great start to the McLaren Trophy season at Monza 🇮🇹

P1 in Race 1, P2 in Race 2, and pole position in Qualifying 2, which puts us at the top of the Pro-Am standings.

We were hoping for more in Race 2 after leading until the pit stop, but an unfortunate red flag changed the outcome and we had to settle for second place.

A huge thank you to everyone at @alfab_team and to my teammate Erik for the superb work throughout the weekend.

Let’s keep working for next round at Spa in four weeks. 🚀
