I have been blessed with two of the best cats before Rufus, but I have never experienced a love like his. He was in my driveway in LA, as if he was waiting for me back on November 20, 2022. I know now he really was there for me. He showed up ready to love and ready to teach me a whole different type of soul exchange without me even having a clue. His protection, his bravery, his respectful feral ways inside the house and his connection and intelligence were incredible. With him, snuggles felt like heaven on earth and I’m overwhelmed by the way he came into my world and the way he went out, true little G through and through. It’s crazy how animals just know how much you can handle and when. I’m sad his street life brought him a sickness he couldn’t overcome but he knew we each struck gold when we found each other. I have closed so many doors since Rufus came into my life, evolved into this next version of myself with him by my side in just 3.5 years, yet him going back home really solidified the turning of a page in my destiny. Thank you God for bringing this priceless love into my life. Rufus showed me I was deserving to care for something so precious like him. Forever grateful. This is 40!!! In my 30’s I became:An auntie to Gael.A divorcee.A COO.Non-alcoholic. A better woman.Forgiving of myself and those who I never thought I could live without. A person who knows their worth. A high value woman. A better helper. I thought I would have 3 kids by now and be living a whole other life but God had other plans and I’m so happy he did. As I enter this next decade, I sit here proud of myself for where I am today but shit, without the love that surrounds me, I would have never been able to do it on my own…I just needed to figure out that that love is always a part of me even when I walk alone. Excited to become a better person this next decade. Excited to help others more in this next decade.Excited to see what else this life has to offer because I haven’t even peaked yet.Excited to get better in my career and create residual income.Excited to make more core memories with my family and friends. To the lady I chose to be my mama: I think I struck gold when my soul found yours ❤️ I am a mini you which is one of the things I love about myself because you are a lover of life and fun, living in the present, forgetting about any of yesterday’s struggles (still learning to be more like you everyday). You are the life of the party even when it’s not your party and I love how much you leave an impression on everyone you meet. In a decade, Alexander and I have made so many dreams come true. Both collectively and individually, but always together. To say he has changed the course of my life is an understatement. He has done it with so much love, grace and bravery, but above all, fun. Thank you for believing in me. For trusting me. For loving me unconditionally. Today is one of those days that reminds you of what life is truly about…My incredible parents are 43 years married today and their love is one that make others know love IS possible. Pat and Jim are the prime example that compromise, respect, values and priority can make a love last longer than we are programmed to understand. I have been so blessed in my life and despite the hard times I have faced, the love I see and feel from my parents has got me through it all.May we all feel even once in our life the love they share. Last time in New York it felt different. The city finally captured my heart after almost 30 years of never doing so and there was an energy that vibrated unlike ever before. I know now that the energy was for the new that is coming for my Genie/Alexander and @thesocietygroup_ in one of the biggest cities in the world. 2025 is already looking so bright and I’m beyond proud of @thealexandersociety for never giving up on what he wants. Leading up to my 39th birthday, I got to experience one of the best views ever in New York City which kicked off my farewell to 38. Then, my birthday Saturday left me with an immense feeling of gratitude in my heart because of the incredible souls I get to call my friends and family. Although not all those who impact me so profoundly were present, the love was prominent. I felt all the old versions of myself hug me goodbye that morning and welcome the woman I have become. Baby Alè would be proud 🥹 Thank you to everyone who sent me love in any form to wish me a great birthday but really, thank you for never letting me forget the magic I have inside me ❤️Blessed to have celebrated with my hardworking besties at our 12th annual @ces_nonprofit Witches’ Ball! The electric slide to Atomic Dog showed my age and I don’t give a 💩 as it was the highlight of the weekend ❤️ Seeing Grandma yesterday was icing on the cake too.
