This was the most difficult book I've ever read 🥺

What a powerful story that made me question myself many times "What if it was me? What if I was this mother?" 😭 by @alex.betweenpages

❤️ January Reads ❤️

I always loved to read and this year, after many years not reading much, I decided to focus on it again. I decided that, every time I pick my phone to "doomscroll" , I would pick a book instead. So far it's working well, every day I get excited after work to go home and read! Not always easy with kids but I think I'm doing very well 😊

The book community in Instagram is lovely and I connected with so many lovely people already!

During January I read a mix of Portuguese (my native language) & English books. I defenitely feel more connected reading in my native language but I'm working on building the same connection witn English written books ❤️

- A minha avó pede desculpa by Fredrik Backman
⭐⭐⭐⭐

- Beautiful ugly by Alice Feeney
⭐⭐✨

- 🇵🇹 Mataram a cotovia (To kill a mockingbird) by Harper Lee
⭐⭐⭐⭐✨

- I am I am I am by Maggie O'Farrell ⭐⭐⭐

- Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine by Gail Honeyman
⭐⭐⭐⭐✨

- 🇵🇹 Não Fossem as sílabas do sábado (If it weren't for the syllables of Saturday) by Maria Salomão Carrara
