There’s no place like home 🏠
Seriously, getting back in time for New England fall feels like the cherry on top.

Last legs of my trip!! Long drives, smaller national parks, and a level of exhaustion pretty unimaginable. My family welcomed me home with their own national park signs and promptly told me to shower 🫠

Literally the trip of a lifetime.

So the Tetons have a piece of my heart 🏔️

Sara and I made it to the mountains! We cooked, met friends and laughed so hard it counted as the ab workout for the day.

We can in fact confirm that we weren’t sad, we just needed the mountains :)

And we saw a moose 🫎

And we cooked beans and dogs 🫘🌭

Sara, Maggie and I take Yellowstone 🦬

Okay, yes this place is so so gorgeous and the bison are cuties (more on them later), but GOOD LORD it smelled terrible

Guys it was DENSE… the sulfuric gas that comes out of the ground is so bad I almost threw up on our hike

Some other names for the park that we came up with include but are not limited to:

Flowing in the salt flats

Yoga has been a big part of my internal journey and is the reason I can embrace amazing opportunities in life like driving cross country

I’ll be doing more teaching and leading as we slow down and enter hibernation mode and I’m excited to find a yoga community once I stop moving around so much

TREES! BIG TREES! 🌲

pit stopped in @sequoiakingsnps last week to live up to the tree hugger allegations and boy was I impressed

such a peaceful little spot on my way to Yosemite which was a whirlwind and a half, but that’s another update for another time

Fun facts!

🌲 giant sequoias grow with flared bases if they’re too close to water so that they don’t sink into the mud and fall over

🌲the most mature sequoias are rounded at the top (not pointy like other tall guys) and are called monarchs. The oldest tree in the park is around 2,200 years old 👵🏻 by @alex.zisa

Officially crossed the country!

21 days, 4k miles and various plot twists later, I jumped in the Pacific Ocean! 🌊

…but this is the halfway point because I do in fact live in NY and I must eventually return
