Cats out the bag 🦁🤭 I’m honored to say that I’m officially an emerging storyteller in partnership with @delta x @disney for the new #MUFASA The Lion King movie directed by Barry Jenkins @bandrybarry!

#MUFASA is out in theaters TOMORROW Dec 20th

I always loved that filmmaking gives me the opportunity to meet a variety of people and tell their stories. I’m continuously fascinated with the amazing people that I get a chance to interact with and learn from throughout my journey. Oftentimes many people hyper-fixate on the destination and forget that the journey, the ups and downs and how you overcome challenges is the fun part.

Don’t let anyone tell you you can’t occupy the spaces you’re meant to.

This experience and filmmaking as a whole has taught me to:

Dream a lil bigger

Trust in yourself

Trust in the process

And always show up as your authentic self ❤️

Some appreciation for “Oldest” short film :)

This film is truly so dear to me. Not only is it an entirely Black and Latino cast but it’s also led by majority women 🤭 #carribeanfilmmakers 🇩🇴🇯🇲🇦🇬

When I first got the idea for writing it I thought of all the older siblings in my life. I thought of all the people that had to put on a strong face when they themselves were hurting. I thought of all the people who work hard behind the scenes who go unnoticed.

For any older sister trying her best to stay afloat amongst the busyness life throws…we see you.

For anyone stuck in between choosing between the life others want for you and the life you want for yourself…we see you.

For those holding onto a dream so tightly even though no one else believes in you…we see you.

For everyone who stepped up as the mediator in the midst of familial problems…we see you.

Thank you 2026 for the best summer of my life including solo traveling Europe! This is a sign to book one way plane tickets more often.

Whether it be driving around Iceland to catch the total solar eclipse and hike a glacier, or dancing for 13 hours with all of France in celebration of Fete de la musique, this summer has been nothing short of amazing. I was taught the power of being spontaneous and trusting myself that everything will be alright and that I can put anything I set my mind to. I’ve also met some amazing people whose lessons and memories will stick with me for a lifetime truly have changed my life.

Favorite memories include:
-Literally the whole day of Fete De La Musique
-Dancing at the base of Notre Dame after hours after the jazz places closed
-Cosplaying as a Cambridge University student for couple days
-Staying up all night to catch the sunrise in Barcelona beach
-Ibiza pit stop for 24 hours
-Going to Afronation in Portugal to see some of my favorite artists live and dancing SO MUCH
-Skydiving for the first time my second day of Portugal after an uber driver recommended it to me on day 1
-Stranded in Dublin for 24 hours but look its my face on Guinness!
- Seeing miss Ponytail live again
- Spain World Cup win!!!
- hiking a glacier + blue lagoon in Iceland
- SO MANY PARADES
- Sanctus church retreat
- 3 part birthday month celebration including traveling to Puerto Rico with close friends
- GIANT HUGO SPRITZ
- Joining the circus part time 🤡
- spending time with best friends ever :)

Apop listening party recap and yes will forever be a @tyla girlie💖💖💖 I’ve had APOP on repeat all week 💫

Artists like Tyla remind me that I love being the loudest one in the room, I love dancing, I love letting loose and being free, I love forgetting all my cares and enjoying music no matter who is around me. I love smiling, laughing sharing dances with people and building a community. To anyone who thinks being nonchalant is the way to go about life I pity you and the regrets you will have later 💖

I love my country New York City💙🧡

Also I want to take the opportunity to mention the following. For those who just moved here or are looking to move to nyc, you see how amazing the community feels? If you want to move here, or just came recently, please respect the cultures that are already present instead of pushing it out and gentrifying. I’ve seen neighborhoods rich with culture including my own change so much in the past years because of gentrification and I’m young. I find it funny that the same people who are praising the current community in New York City are the same people that are actively pushing it out. But to those who are part of helping that commmunity let’s keep this good thing going.

I am love, I am light, my smile brings joy and blessing to those who see it and I light up the room with energy and sun. I create the vibrancy, I lead with love and care and attract those who do the same. Anyone who thinks otherwise does not know me, and I feel sorry that you have not encountered that version of me. I have so much grace and love for myself I hope you find the same ❤️

A little throwback to my interview with @cuny.tv @cunytvframebyframe to discuss my short film Oldest.

It was great to open up about the intention behind the film, my process with directing and casting, and the personal inspirations that shaped the story. This one is really close to me❤️

Oldest follows Adjani as she steps into her next chapter while carrying the quiet weight of being the eldest daughter in an immigrant family household.
