Africa Champs🇿🇦🥇

This one was special! An event that reminded me just how lucky I am to do what I do, and what a privilege it is to represent this beautiful country. Obviously it’s a very fulfilling feeling to walk away with a win, but on this trip the satisfaction really stemmed from the small moments. The cherry on top being watching @henry_van_der_walt win his first African Champs medal 🥇.

A huge thank you to all the people in my corner who wholeheartedly believe in me🫶

Thank you @coach_jernejzr @tip_sprint_kayak_coaching for all the early morning Google meets on the ergo, and all your help in developing my paddling.

Thank you to @fynbosmoney @32gi @oceanfreedomco @rapidrecover for taking a chance on me, and giving me the support I need to have special moments like this one.

Thank you to @paddlesportsa @sa_nlc for all your involvement in this tour.

@fynbosmoney came into my sporting journey at the perfect time. Besides helping me achieve my sporting goals, they’ve helped me instill some very valuable financial habits.

If you need a sign to start saving and investing your money, then this is it✨

No world champs for me this year💔

What was an event I was so excited to compete at just wasn’t meant to be this year. Unfortunately, sickness just got the better of me this time.

Time to take some time out and get healthy again, before I start training for the next season.

Even though I’m not lining up this time, a huge thank you to my sponsors who were in my corner for all the other races this year.
