To my Republican friends. Actually my Republican friends all seem to have money. If you’re Republican and have an average salary like $60,000 as a teacher, how does this work for you? And your newly increased health insurance rates. How is this party working for the people to make America great? By making deals with Saudi Arabia? The average person is worse off with this president. Explain otherwise if you don’t agree. I’m open to changing my mind and learning the other points I’m missing. Thanks Alan! I totally missed your point on your post, or the punchline, because I was too excited to learn that term Sapiosexual that I never knew but it explains me. People have always told me I don’t understand your man choices, you don’t look great together, he’s too short, or this ones not cute enough, but it’s because I’m sapiosexual and didn’t know that word! It started with my first love at 13. He was a science nerd in my class with tape and a safety pin on his glasses. He was so smart I had my grandmother hire him to be my math tutor. I would draw a pen mark on his arm to touch him and have him wrestle me away. He came from 5 boys no girls. He wasn’t interested in girls for many more years. I chased him until we finally got together at 18 and went to McGill together. I have always chosen the smartest but never knew there was a term for it. Now you can all understand my man choices since it seems to be a curious point for some of you! I love smart people it’s the biggest turn on more than looks because often it goes with humor, you have to be smart to have quick come backs. Smart and funny wins my heart ❤️ by @alexandraaimis

Today was one of the worst days of my life at 26, 30 years ago. I’ll never forget being with 20 Taiwanese high schoolers at the airport in Edmonton, Alberta taking my students to go camping in Banff National Park from Vancouver, BC where I was living and they were studying English. I heard Jerry died and burst into tears as the adult with 20 kids. They worried and surrounded me “what happened Ms Alexandra what happened?” “You okay Ms Alexandra?”Jerry died I wailed 😭😭😭. No one knew who i was talking about. I didnt get to mourn with friends, i was heading out to camp with kids who had never slept in a forest or chopped wood. Teaching them English and how to appreciate nature was the task at hand . I had to pick myself up and pull it together for the next 5 nights. I slept with the bear whistle around my neck scared shitless myself pretending everything is okay while tears rolled down my face every night as i put myself to sleep listening to Jerry with my yellow sport Sony Walkman. It was so lonely not what mourning typically should be.
My last show was Jerry Band Seattle 5/6/95. Jerry struggled. I wasn’t ready for it to be my last show. It was Jerry’s last year but not my last show. It was the beginning of a lifelong journey with friends to be quantum entangled together in the realm of sound and kinship continuing through today tomorrow to infinity and beyond. by @alexandraaimis

My eldest son is 28. My youngster son is 16. My daughter is 19. I have been driving someone to school or day care daily for 27 years. Alarm clocks, lunches, car pool for 27 years. Today my youngest child got a car. School starts in a week and a half and for the first time in 27 years I don’t have to wait in car pool line!!! I can’t believe it I thought this day would never come! But I will miss talking Noah’s face off in the ride because he was trapped in the car so I could say what i needed to say and he couldn’t escape. I’ll miss that talk time. It’s bitter sweet.
They are all driving their own cars 🚗
Oh the possibilities ! Early morning exercise 🏋️‍♀️ class oh boy! Sleep if i need it 🛌
The end of an era of driving to schools, the same month my eldest is proposing to his girlfriend 💍 . I may have little time before I start watching a grand baby 👩‍🍼Not yet, Jordan needs to finish Princeton! All good blessings.
God bless America and our way of life.#gratitude by @alexandraaimis

We are not supposed to do what they did to us. We should do better. Fundamental needs must be met. We are not an eye for an eye people. Their children will repeat if we don’t provide. by @alexandraaimis
