Introducing Alexa Quaranta.

Originally from Illinois, Alexa has played across the NCAA Division I, Division II, and NAIA levels, as well as competing semi-professionally in the United States, Spain, and Greece. She has also achieved success in futsal and 3v3 competitions, winning multiple championships throughout her playing career.

Alexa specialises in technical development and football IQ, with a strong focus on helping players become confident and comfortable on the ball. Her sessions emphasise high repetition, skill development, and game understanding, while providing players with feedback and individual work to continue their progress outside of training.

Whether you’re looking to improve your ball mastery, develop your confidence, or learn more about pathways into college football in the United States, Alexa is here to help you play, compete, and grow.

Alexa “Q” Quaranta brings international experience, leadership, and a deep understanding of the game. From captaining state and regional teams to playing professionally in Spain, she’s built a reputation for composure, intelligence, and technical quality on the ball.

Danielle Grimmer’s football journey spans over 20 years from grassroots football to competing in the USA across NJCAA and NCAA Division II while studying. Now at Ellerslie AFC, she continues to bring experience, consistency, and passion to the game.

Welcome 2 Beach week!
Today…Oneroa Beach in Waiheke

We will rank out of 50 based on
- [ ] Cleanliness of water
- [ ] Sand area
- [ ] Available activities
- [ ] Transparency of water
- [ ] Views

Oneroa beach gets
- [ ] 10/10 for cleanliness. No litter and no trash. The water was absolutely stunning too.
- [ ] 8/10 for sand. Some of room for activities and friends. When it’s low tide much more space and a lot more people came out to do picnics. Sand was clean and had beautiful/unique seashells to pick out of. Just nothing crazy
- [ ] 8/10 for available activities. The beach itself is great for boating, sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. water is very calm. Also a minute walk uphill not even and ur in this cute downtown area with tons of food, wine, and shops. Only reason not 10 is not much to rent at least on site. Probably a store nearby but definitely a beach to can bring ur own things too. Plenty to do around the beach and enjoy the views
- [ ] 10/10 on transparency. I COULD SEE MY FEET!!! Water was so refreshing but cold lol. However I could see my feet and tiny fishes. It was so cool. It was like taking a bath. The shades of blue were amazing. Quality water :)
- [ ] 10/10 on views. Just absolutely breath taking. Anywhere u had food or drinks you had a great view. Just surrounded by the island and looking out to the mountain. I just loved this beach. Laying down and listening to the waves was my favorite.

46/50 for my Oneroa beach!!! This beach was worth the travel. Was an hour ferry which wasn’t bad at all. Super clean and had a beautiful day to just sit and enjoy it. Views were stunning and loved how every place you went to had a view of it. People were also super kind to share recommendations. The water was so clear and I really loved the whole atmosphere taken in Oneroa, Waiheke Island by @alexaquaranta40

Today…Campbells Bay

We will rank out of 50 based on
- [ ] Cleanliness of water
- [ ] Sand area
- [ ] Available activities
- [ ] Transparency of water
- [ ] Views

Campbells Bay gets
- [ ] 8/10 for cleanliness. No litter and no trash. Minus one because all the spiders in the changing room and one more for one shower.
- [ ] 8/10 for sand. Lots of room for activities and friends. Sand was clean and had a good amount of seashells to pick out of. Only down side was it became like crunchy sand when walking in. Solid sand though
- [ ] 8/10 for available activities. My favorite was all the penguin statues. You have to find all of them which are scattered around the park and beach. Cute bench area to read and look out. More than enough space for spike ball. Waves were bigger here but fun to jump over. Could boogie board. Saw boats but not much surfing. Definitely a beach you have to bring stuff to as we didn’t see any rentals. Overall loved it since it was the most comfortable to swim in as someone who will drown in strong water. Definitely reminded me of Oceanside
- [ ] 7/10 on transparency. Same as others. Not clear clear but could see my limbs. I also think the cleanliness and clear shades of blue add to it. Others did say it gets a lot clearer just the rain lately made it worse.
- [ ] 10/10 on views. Was another perfect day for the beach. Winning our game added to the vibes. I also felt this was the busiest beach so seeing people doing their own activities was fun. Lots of cliffs to see and can see the volcano pretty close was surreal. Statue penguins also fun to look at and this little bridge was adorable

41/50 for my third beach!!! This beach definitely reminded me of Oceanside. Lots of space to do things. Clean. Waves were manageable. Just have to bring the activities. Cute penguin theme if u have youngins or someone who loves penguins. However the view is wayyyyy better than Oceanside. You literally can see a volcano so yeah. However no strawberry shack. This beach did give my curls the best loving by @alexaquaranta40

Today…Piha Beach

We will rank out of 50 based on
- [ ] Cleanliness of water
- [ ] Sand area
- [ ] Available activities
- [ ] Transparency of water
- [ ] Views

Piha Beach gets
- [ ] 9/10 for cleanliness. No litter. The black sand made it easy to see if there was anything.
- [ ] 10/10 for sand. IT WAS BLACK! First time seeing a black beach. Tons of space to walk around and a huge sand dune to slide down. We had a great day for the beach but I bet in peak summer the sand gets boiling hot.
- [ ] 8/10 for available activities. It is great for surfing! There is also a lot of hikes near by and a waterfall. We walked across the rocky part where there was a cave and a little watering hole that was calmer and warmer. Also a sand dune to run up and down. Sadly no seashells :( also strong currents to be cautious about. Then had my first real fruit ice cream which was amazing and would literally do the hour drive just for another one
- [ ] 8/10 on transparency. Not clear but we were able to see fishes. I also loved the shades of blue. Easier to see than the last beach.
- [ ] 10/10 on views. Another amazing day for the beach! The looking points gave the best view! But every area we took pictures was amazing. Cool caves and climbing the rocks while the tide came in was very pretty. Saw a man fishing and the waves crashing behind him. Could just watch the surfers too.

45/50 for my second beach!!! IT WAS GORGEOUS!!! I want to go back to star gaze or even do the hikes. I loved it and is a must for my family when they come. Even the drive was beautiful and full of greenery. by @alexaquaranta40

Welcome to Beach week!
Today…Eastern Beach

We will rank out of 50 based on
- [ ] Cleanliness of water
- [ ] Sand area
- [ ] Available activities
- [ ] Transparency of water
- [ ] Views

Eastern Beach gets
- [ ] 8/10 for cleanliness. No litter. Not much seaweed. No water lice (which I just learned is a thing)
- [ ] 5/10 for sand. Lots of seashells which is fun to look at the different kinds but hard to walk on. Not much space for sand sports like volleyball or spike ball. Not much space if it was crowded
- [ ] 8/10 for available activities. Although no rental options you can bring your own jet ski (if you have one laying around). Also great for paddle boarding. A cave near by for kayaking. You can also do sailing or a thing called biscuit which is essentially tubing. No waves to surf which makes calm water like this perfect to swim or walk around in. Also a cliff jumping area where I was to chicken to go near. After all the fun you can stop at the restaurant or convenience store for an ice cream and drinks.
- [ ] 4/10 on transparency. Although you can’t see what’s under you it is clean and looking out you can see the different shades of blue.
- [ ] 10/10 on views. We did get an amazing day but you can see all the surrounding islands. Gorgeous views to see the ferry go from island to island or the near by cliff.

35/50 is a great start for my first beach!!! Can’t start too high since I was told about black beaches and some beaches on the islands which are suppose to blow my mind. Overall solid beach and very close to where I am staying. taken in Eastern Beach, New Zealand by @alexaquaranta40
