@gratefulshredmusic tour starts this week. Don’t be a stranger and come out to a show. by @alexecote

I just got some @zildjiancompany K custom dry hi hats and I thought this groove would be the best way to break them in. I’ve been working on this for years and it’s still so hard to get it right. The way Gadson pops the snares is so unique and funky. I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to figure it out. Also, I figured this @rogersdrums powertone snare I got from @rochesterdrumtrade was the right choice for the groove. #vintagedrums #drummersofinstagram #jamesgadson #rochesterny #rogersdrums # by @alexecote

In my 20s, I would write a song every year on my birthday. Since I turned 30 and had a kid, I haven’t really had as much time to do that so I thought I’d share one of my older songs. This one felt appropriate since today is Labor Day and the song is called “Labor Day”. I wrote this one 6 years ago on my 27th birthday. Hope everyone is having a nice holiday! 🌻 by @alexecote

I’ve been meaning to share this for a long time. I was honored to be asked to work on this project with @sarahdevalliere. It was one of the best rehearsal and studio experiences I’ve ever had. Sarah is super fun to work with and amazingly talented and creative. It shows on this album. Big thanks to everyone who was a part of this project. Please go give a listen! by @alexecote
