Happy opening!! Today is the first night of #therachelcorrieplaybk and I’m very excited to announce my friend @alexfeld (who had a recent show at @waterburybk ) made jewelry you can buy at the show, with part of proceeds also to help Palestinians. She is also doing our pre show speech- we are going to try and have someone else do that each time. Other vendors will be there on other days. It was my dream to have these shows as a community gathering, and I’m so excited to see folks there. Also- for tomorrow’s show ONLY, we are offering 28 rush tickets at the door. You must bring cash, and I cannot guarantee seats will be available as the show is starting to get buzz. Please bring exact change, as my amazing mom @griesevirginia will be doing the door. This production is going to be so special- the 12 we will have some of my amazing @sagaftramembersforceasefire family including @cocobucks and @gabrielkornbluh selling shirts, and many more. If you’re a vendor / artist who wants to participate contact me. Also thank you to folks who have donated tickets !! This helps make theatre more accessible something I learned from the amazing @jeremyoharris . And an exciting announcement- this production will be the first EVER to have Tom Dale speak his own testimony at the end of the play. And we have a du’a performed by my Muslim friend Layla at the end. I hope to see you there - and please contact me if you have any trouble with the ticket price so we can set you up with a donor (and those who can’t make it please contact me if you want to donate). Thank you @lauraclintonllc for this amazing idea. Or please donate directly to these folks : @emily_debinie , @baladi.palestineanimalrescue , which are the main charities I’m donating to, or @rachelcorriefoundation and or @ismpalestine. the magic is revealed✨

My solo photography show at @waterburybk September 8th-29th 2024

What a thrill and honor ❤️

Thank you to @waterburybk for hosting me, all who helped me erect this beautiful show, and to all who were able to come enjoy it in person!

Many works are still available for purchase and if the framed version is too expensive, we can fix you up with a print of your favorite.

I’m also available for portraits, landscapes, pets, musicians, and all other 35mm commissions ❤️

Love you 🫶

We’re excited to announce our next artist-in-residence show “Sometimes Outside,” a collection of photos by alex Feld. Alex’s 35mm photos can be described as a visual poem that holds an ephemeral sense of magic!

Opening reception is this Sunday (9/8) from 5 - 8 PM

About the artist: Alex Feld is a Brooklyn-based multi-disciplinary artist. Whether it be photography, dance, acting, singing, gardening, flower arranging, collaging, handwriting, gift wrapping, plating her cooking, or making jewelry, it all comes from the same desire to create, highlight, and savor the beauty within our world.

All of Alex’s compositions are organic and extemporaneous with little to no planning. Nature is her most reliable muse, but performers are another favorite subject, with a handful of captured moments also on view in the back of the shop, nestled in the Groove Corner

100% of the sales proceeds go directly to the artist taken in Waterbury Wine & Spirits by @alexfeld

Publicly grieving the theft of these one-of-a-kind framed photos one last time! I was so proud to have them hanging up at @therookerybar for so many years!! Someone lifted them as a souvenir on the very last day of service.. I should have done it first (!!) but I couldn’t bring myself to dismantle such a beautiful display. Thank you to Jamie and the Rookery community for having me. Raising my glass to fond memories and to everyone’s next chapter. 💜🩵 taken in Bushwick, Brooklyn by @alexfeld
