Feeling sentimental today as my almost 3 years of working with @hancocksurfacestudio comes to a close. I don’t know if he knows this but before we met I was just a fan of his work haha. The past few years have been formative in a lot of ways and I got incredibly lucky working for someone that not only gave me trust and autonomy to grow, but also became a dear friend. I hope the next leg of you and your family’s life in Maine is fruitful and fulfilling. I hate to see you leave, but I love to watch you go!

Since most of my photos of Ryan are him drenched in sweat at various installs, here’s some random projects I found in my camera roll by @alexwmathis

This is me in 2023, what was probably the most challenging year of my life so far. BUT!!! There was a lot that made me smile and people that were patient and there for me in a way I hadn’t experienced. Especially my wonderful wife @emilykbanks who took this photo ❤️ Peace and Love in the new year by @alexwmathis
