Can you believe a WHOLE YEAR AGO I started my business. This first year has been the best start that I could have asked for and I am so grateful for all of the support I have received.

Hyrox Lisboa 🇵🇹✨

The final curtain call for the 25/26 season and in my second home ❤️

This was NOT an easy race for me in the slightest, but even with an endometriosis flare up and really struggling with confidence / body positivity combined I STILL DID THAT!

Some things we can control and some things we can’t, but we ride the wave and we show up regardless 🫶🏼

Thank you thank you thank you to @franrizaphoto for capturing the most amazing footage and being an awesome cheer leader in the process 🥰

If I could give you any advice when it comes to your training, your goals, or even that voice in your head that makes you doubt yourself - what would mini you think of you right now?

Because I think little Al would think 2026 Al is pretty cool.

No sorry babe we didn’t become an Olympic gymnast, we didn’t open a cake shop, and we didn’t marry @lewishamilton (never say never…).

But what we did do was overcome a hell of a lot of hurdles, stayed true to who we really are and created a business and a community for ourselves that absolutely rocks! 💜

(+ we’re still obsessed with mint aero, so something things I guess never change).

We also found this thing called Hyrox, which completely lit up our spark for training again and is responsible for why I am the healthiest, happiest and fittest I have arguably ever been.

It’s easy to focus on ever moving goal posts, get stressed about not being where we want to be, or getting caught up in the day to day noise. Sometimes we need to look back and remember that where we are today was nothing but a dream once upon a time.

Big shout out to @jules78383 who was my gymnastics coach when this photo was taken (sorry if I’ve made you feel old now by posting this! 😂🤭).

Rowrah.jpg ‘26

God it’s been a while since we’ve done a karting .jpg - very out of practice.

One kart started at the back and won, the other was sitting in P1 for ages before having a mechanical and ending up at the back. Couldn’t write it really.

Come with me to work for the day! ☺️👩🏻‍⚕️🩻🏋️‍♀️

The exciting thing about my job is that every day is different. I don’t really have a ‘routine’ because my day is formed around my clients! And hopefully I will be able to get some footage with my clients next time but this particular day was rammed and flew by! 🥰

The three main things that I have learnt to make time for in my work day are:
🍎 food
🏋️‍♀️ exercise
💻 admin

I’ve definitely gone through periods when I have sacrificed either one or all of these three things, mainly because my job is so hands on and people facing. But the urgent admin being done takes the weight off, food is vital for me to be the best physio possible for my clients, and my workouts just keep me sane!

Okay so sometimes I get so caught up in juggling life (don’t we all!) that I don’t take enough time to stand back and look at what I have created.

I was so scared to open my own business, and today marks the day that two years ago I really looked at myself in the mirror and told myself “I NEED to do this”. I love what I do. I always have. But I never thought I would be capable of building a business, a community, a livelihood off of my own name and back that would grow into what it is already. And we’re only really just getting started.

Imposter syndrome exists in all different forms, but running your own business is really something else. Especially when people’s health and passions are on the line. I think imposter syndrome always exists though if you want something badly enough. It shows you care. It shows you want to get better.

And sitting here reading just a few of the incredible reviews I have received over the last 18 months really gives me that feeling of “this is why I do what I do”.

So thank you all for the support so far. For trusting me with your injuries. For recommending your friends, family members, and anyone else that you’ve told about me. For just being a part of the journey, no matter how long you’ve been here for.

There is so much more to go, I cannot wait to see what the future holds 💜
