Today marks TWO YEARS since I started my fitness journey! 🥳💪

Has it been easy? BIG FAT NO! 😂 Between injuries, lack of motivation, working full-time and personal struggles, it’s been far from smooth sailing. But I’ve stayed consistent and shown up, even on the days I really didn’t want to!

Today, I was moaning (shock 🙄) to AJ about not being where I want to be, comparing myself to other girls in the gym and still feeling unfit, slow and not good enough.

His response? “No one’s where they want to be. It’s fitness. No one ever makes it. Even when you think you’re there, you’ll want more. That’s the beauty (and pain) of it.”

Looking back at this reel reminds me just how far I’ve come. 53kg lighter, fitter than I’ve ever been and the lightest I’ve ever been! 🥹

I might not look like the other girls (yet 😉), but the goal now is to stop comparing myself and focus on becoming the best, fittest version of ME!

As always, a massive shoutout to @ystraining_gym and @sarahmasseytraining for getting me started and giving me a love for this game. To @ajsgym_peterborough , who’s genuinely changed my life and become a friend for life. To @alexxactive_ who fixes me in more ways than one, to @travisbrowncoaching who tells me to stop moaning and get on with it (I moan A LOT 😑) and to my amazing support network! ❤️

Here’s to another year of trying to be a below-average athlete! 😂💪

After 8 months of thinking about it, she finally took the plunge! 🤎✨

With her wedding just 20 months away, she wanted to trial going darker now to make sure it was exactly what she wanted for the big day.

Her inspiration? A rich, glossy chocolate brown she’d been saving from Instagram Reels for months. 🍫

Safe to say… she walked out absolutely in love with her hair, and we achieved the look she had been dreaming of. Swipe to see the transformation! 🤍

Deadly Gross 12 hour endurance event
11:41:59 🎉

This was probably the silliest way to come back to fitness post injury 🤷🏻‍♀️🙈

Massive shout out to @ajsgym_peterborough @danidenholm and Ant!! What a 12 hours we had! We fought hard even when giving up was the easier option! Injuries came to play around round 8-9 but we kept going! The mental resilience these people have shown was crazy!! Will I ever do this again....NO! Did we raise awareness for Tiny heartbeat heroes...YESS!

The next time I will be killing myself off for @tinyheartbeatheroes in the Manchester Marathon ☠️

The community at @deadly.dozen was also the best fitness community I have ever seen. no egos, not competition, just everyone in the same boat cheering and supporting each other to get through this!

Massive thanks to @alexxactive_ for getting me ready! I will deffo be needing you!

P.s the DOMS today are something I have never experienced 🤢🫠
