I left Venezuela when I was six; it’s part of my identity, a part that’s hard for me to access–I remember and long for the land without completely understanding it. Visiting in 2022 was logistically challenging. When I arrived, it was emotional to reconnect with my extended family and find new life in the world I’d left behind: the bull-fighting ring I played in, the backyard where I rode my bike, the view from the backseat of my godmother’s car, the retirement home where my uncle lives.

Venezuela is both beautiful and heartbreaking. As soon as I arrived, as soon as I touched the soil, so much of it came flooding back to me.

I made a small selection of open-edition prints from my trip to Venezuela in 2022.

We are honored to present the work of artists who have been part of this neighborhood long before us, creators who have experienced, observed, and shaped this place in their own unique ways.

There is something special about bringing the work of our neighbors together under one roof, and seeing Spring Garden through the eyes of those who live here and call this place home.

As the World Cup comes to an end, I can’t help but look back on the incredible memories this past month has brought. The matches were unforgettable, but the moments I’ll carry with me most happened away from the pitch… meeting people from around the world, sharing conversations, and witnessing the passion and traditions that make this time so special. The best memories are always free.

Grateful to have my work featured in the Financial Times, where my photographs accompany Gideon Rachman’s latest Weekend Essay exploring how football, politics, and conspiracy theories have become increasingly intertwined.

It was a privilege to document the fans, the rituals, and the emotions that make the World Cup unlike any other event.

Earlier this spring, National Geographic sent me to the Everglades to photograph America’s smallest post office and its longtime postmaster, Don Walters. A true SFL gem that you’ve probably driven past without realizing it.

The story is part of a special series celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States through some of the country’s most remarkable superlatives. Grateful to @natgeo for the opportunity to document another unique story hidden in the Everglades 📬🐊
