POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

📣💥💥🌟🎶🌷🤩✨Today is the day!!! With endless gratitude to song, spirit, and community, Loosen is now in the world and available anywhere you stream music 🌎🔥THANK YOU for making it possible to bring this dream of an album to life.

🌊Loosen is a prayer for a world with both tremendous loss and possibility. As things fall apart, who will we become? What will reach us in the places we became numb and resigned, so we can feel our hearts and rise up again? This music is for finding you where you are, to remind you that you were made for this moment. Another world is on her way, holding you as you grieve in this one. This world has their arms outstretched and is beckoning you forward. She is gravity, holding you in place as everything spins. This world is made for you and you are made of it, that fine dust, the stuff of stars. We will make a home for all of us from what has been.

🌈It has been such joy, growing pains, and deep learning to make this album. This song is about grief, but it is also about beauty. Grief wants us not to miss a single moment of beauty, including the loss of it. These songs are to help us stop, feel, and figure out how to build a society that cherishes life. As we enter Pesach, may this album accompany you as we tell new and old liberation stories.

❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥WE DID IT! I honestly can’t believe it. I hope you enjoy, and feel free to share this with your worlds and loves 🌎

Grateful for everyone who joined us this weekend for our annual Sukkot Festival. Your presence made the event shine. A special thank you to Rabbi Shefa Gold, Aly Halpert, Michael Harlow, and Eitan Kantor for lighting up the day with us. So much joy in being together. May the spirit of this festival, community, gratitude, and joy, stay with us long after the sukkah comes down. daily reminder that magic can still happen, and that flight cancellations can lead to meeting a new friend on the next plane and reading mahmoud darwish together and deciding that you’ll each write each other a poem by the time you land and then that friend walking you through the Denver airport maze to make sure you find your bags and get where you’re going — thanks @duck.lappy 💫🌅 by @alhalpal
