Hardest thing I’ve ever done for sure. Woooooof

Had the best freaking support crew.. from near and far! My headphones were going off with voice memos quite literally the entire time. I appreciate yall. 🫶🫶🫶

Want to shoutout so many people who helped me train for this dang thing, but I’ll do that later. For now, ima cross this thing off the bucket list! ☑️ taken in Baltimore, Maryland by @ali_flax

📍 Planted roots

One of my personal goals this year was “buy a house in ATX” and crossing that off the list feels so dang good!!
I could go on and on about how much I love this city, all of the amazing friends I have made, and how blessed I am for the opportunity to keep pursing my dreams. But for now - hooooney I am finalllllly home!!
Come visit (just don’t plan to sit anywhere near my white couch 🤪) or you’ll hear from me and my mother!
I have a lot more decorating and fun I want to do but here’s a snippet and if you’re emo like me.. grab a tissue before the last slide;; taken in Austin, Texas by @ali_flax

IRONMAN 70.3 ☑️

So many feelings about this race and the past 3 months. The #1 thing I know to be true is that hard work and discipline will never steer you wrong. Ever.
3 months of strict training, a minimum of 2 hours per day, with no rest days. (TYSM @leahparkerable 🤣)
No idea how to swim (still not really sure I do lolll), nor had I ever ridden a road bike or been clipped in. 🚲🏊🏼‍♀️
But truly, so much respect for everyone that competes in this sport, or should I say 3 sports. It’s no joke.
It’s crazy to place 8th in my age group and feel slightly disappointed knowing I had some more to give. All that does though is fuel me for whatever is next. And we all know what that is right now.. SOME REST days!!!
Can’t thank my support crew enough (near and far). Y’all truly are the best.
Lucky to train alongside some of the most badass athletes.. y’all are all insane. That’s it for now 🫡

Kidding but we will take a PR.. 1:03:36 was the time.

Fell short of our goal but got first in our age group and fifth overall out of 1526 teams. 🤪

We will be back for more @hyroxamerica !!

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again - couldn’t do it without my PIC @alyssaselk (even though we didn’t speak any words this race)!!

Thanks for all the support 🙏 taken in Dallas, Texas by @ali_flax

🌟 June Member of the Month: @ali_flax 🌟

Ali joined Onnit Gym after winning a free month in January, and never looked back. Since then, she’s fully embraced the strength, speed, and most of all, the community that makes Onnit Gym what it is.

“I haven’t found a better community in Austin that pushes you to level up in every aspect.” 💪

From falling in love with barbell training to making big strides in HYROX endurance, Ali’s progress speaks for itself, and her energy lifts everyone around her.
