A Late IRONMAN 70.3 (69.1) Waco Recap 4:24:04

This race was something completely new for me, which mades these past few months full of learning curves and new challenges. I loved switching up the training and throwing myself into something new even when it came time to learn to actually swim and clip in.

So much respect for everyone in this community and So grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey, especially @nvdmcoaching / @tatum_jimmy, my friends, and everyone who has supported me. Lucky to train alongside some incredible people and who constantly be push me to be better. Y’all are the best 🫶

Biggest lesson I learned is when things don’t go your way, how do you respond? Major bike malfunction today, my shifters stopped working the first 2min of the race and got stuck in the smallest gear for all 56miles. Thought about quitting cause I would have to be mashing the pedals the whole time, and my legs would have been cooked for the run. But I pushed through, PR’d on the bike and PR’d on my run.
S/o to my support @maiyacordray for bearing through this mid life crisis/new found obsession. Thank you to everyone who reached out and cheered me on from a far. Love yall fr.
Already looking to my next race. This is just the beginning 😤

Mastering case coverage will not teach you how to run a territory.

⤵️

Once you learn the products, the workflow, once you prove you can handle the room - then the real fun starts. You start asking other questions?

- How do I become someone a surgeon genuinely trusts?
- How do I grow beyond just case coverage?
- How do I take greater ownership of my career?
- How do I even get new products approved?

Most reps stay head down grinding in the field, so it is hard to step back and build a longer view. You know you are ready for the next level, but you need perspective outside the daily urgency of the case schedule. Working through that transition alone without veteran guidance is unnecessarily slow, and in some cases - your senior reps are either slammed or would prefer not to train up another person!

That is why we built the SURF Fellowship.

It is a selective, 12-week fellowship for MedTech professionals working through territory management, surgeon relationships, and career decisions alongside experienced leaders.

To strengthen the room, I’m thrilled to bring on 4 more exceptional leaders to our founding faculty: Mark Copeland, Chris Cosentino, Alexandra Flax and Kat Hurd. Each of these fantastic humans bring a unique perspective with proven frontline experience running territories, leading teams, and earning trust with top surgeons, ASC’s and hospitals.

We built this space for people already in the field who want to be deliberate about what happens next. Whether 18 months or 18 years in - if these challenges land with you, DM me “SURF”. This is an opportunity to learn directly from operators who have already done what you’re trying to do.

6 spots left for the Q4 cohort!

Hyrox is brutal on your spine and hips. Compression city — sled pushes, burpee broad jumps, farmer’s carries all day.

Most athletes never decompress. They just keep loading.

ELDOA is different. It’s targeted spinal decompression — you hold specific postural positions that create tension along one joint segment at a time, opening space where your training just closed it down.

Not stretching. Not mobility flow. A precise, held decompression.

📍 New ELDOA class at Korrect Fitness
Built for Hyrox athletes who train hard and want their spine to keep up.

Drop a DM if you want in!
