I’ve been at @prolineapp for 365 days.

I caught myself scrolling through my gallery… Oh, the memories.

Trade show madness, finding my voice on camera, morning role play with the boys, team dinners with the kind of laughs that make your belly cramp… Just some of the highlights of my time with this company.

I don’t know where I’ll end up when it’s all said and done. But I do know that this last year at ProLine has been the best year of my life.

To the industry that has welcomed me with open arms, thank you. You guys mean the world to me. To my family who supports me and takes good care of Trio when I’m on the road… thank you. To my friends cheering me on and giving me grace when I bail on plans or never shut up about work, thank you. And last but certainly not least, James Gillespie, for giving me the opportunity to show up for myself and settle into a life that I can be proud of… Thank you.

Grief is a strange thing. As time continues to pass, I keep waiting for the perfect combination of words to flood my brain. Here I am over 2 months since you passed, and I continue to be at a loss for the words that best describe life both with and without you. I do know, however, that life with you will always be made up of my favorite memories. You taught me so much during our time growing up together. Even at 8 years old, you were the most courageous person I have ever met. As time passed, we went through so much together. So many late nights, (followed by early mornings of me harassing you to wake up) driving (way too fast) in our cars with the windows down screaming our song of the week that we couldn’t stop listening to, heartbreaks, (of many shapes and sizes) and long conversations about life, death, and everything in between. I have never been as close to another human being as I was to you. My brain fails to catch up to the reality of you not being here as I still find myself grabbing my phone to call you every time I hear/experience something I want to share with you. Life without you will never be the same. I will spend the rest of my life missing you, loving you, and struggling to find the words to best describe what you mean to me.
