Sadly I am out of the upcoming @polaris_professional contenders tournament due to injury.

I’m working hard behind the scenes to make sure that when I return, I’m ready to earn my spot on the big stage—whether that’s taking it through the qualifiers or getting the call for an invite.

In my mind, it’s only a matter of time until I make my Polaris debut - 2027 will be a big year💪🏽

On October 24, @alimbowjj steps onto the mats in Utrecht with a singular objective: secure a spot on the @polaris_professional card. The Roger Gracie black belt a former English champion at brown belt and multiple IBJJF medalist enters the -88 kg Gi contender bracket where every victory counts.

Only the winner walks away with the golden ticket to the main show, setting up a high-stakes showdown against Spain's -88 kg champion they face each other on november 21 in Southampton.

Think you have what it takes to challenge the most stacked -88 kg division?

Registration for the -88 kg Gi contender bracket is still open sign up now and stake your claim on the mat!.link in bio to register by @alimbowjj

Black Belt in Jiu-Jitsu 🥋⚫️

I am extremely grateful to have been awarded my black belt this weekend @rogergracieacademy , the main reason being it feels as though I can repay, in some small way, all those who have helped me along the way!

Through all the years of hard training, injuries, wins, losses and challenges I was never alone. From the beginning I was backed by my parents who gave me the foundation and inspiration to start, and since starting all the coaches who guided me and pushed me to improve and evolve giving time and energy to me on and off the mats - some of which I grew especially close to and I now look to as mentors and examples of the kind of coach I would like to become. Their dedication is admirable and it’s beyond just a job to them!

My training partners have continually improved my jiu jitsu and at the same time given me some of the best memories and closest friendships - this moment isn’t possible without them.

But most importantly, my right hand woman and best friend who has supported me unconditionally since the beginning and never let challenges from the outside compromise my training or aspirations to coach and compete. Even when injured and unable to work after quitting my previous career she trusted the process and always pushed me to chase this goal and make it work. My potential is tenfold with her by my side, I’m forever grateful!

There are far too many names to mention and thank but I’m sure you know who you are! I’m excited and ready to work towards the next goals and continue to prove all who support me right!

I am simply the sum of those who surround me🖤
