From coffee to code wasn’t a pivot.
It was a continuation.

I started Road Coffee because I believed business could be done differently.
Direct relationships. Fair pay. Dignity. Freedom.

I sat with farmers who told me they didn’t have to choose between feeding their kids and buying fertilizer for next year’s crop. That kind of impact changes you.

But behind the scenes?
I was burning out on repeat.
80-hour weeks. Skipped meals. Living in the grind and calling it “success.”

There had to be a better way.

What I eventually realized was this:
It was never about working harder.
It was about building better systems.

Tech and innovation were always part of how I thought even back then. AI just became the leverage that gave me my time back.

Now I help founders do the same thing.
Not replace themselves.
Not hustle faster.

But build businesses that give them freedom.
To think clearly.
To be present.
To spend more time doing what they actually love.

Impact looks different now.
But the mission is the same.

I swear it’s not just the 3am wake up call 😅 some days life just hits, and I sit there thinking about the whole journey. how wild the road has been to get here.

running on two hours of sleep, flying home, emotional and exhausted and somehow more grateful than I can explain. for this life. for the people around me.

It’s official. Latch AI has been acquired.

I built this company because I was tired of watching founders lose clients out the back door while pouring everything into the front. Silent churn. The kind nobody talks about until the revenue is already gone.

This past year, we proved that retention isn’t the afterthought. It’s the moat.

A huge thank you to the team at Martell Ventures; @danmartell, @graemebarlow and @marcel.petitpas for the support, the belief, and everything I learned along the way. Building alongside you made me a sharper founder.

I just announced the acquisition of Latch AI live on stage at @techcrunch Disrupt.

I built this company because I watched too many founders pour everything into sales while quietly losing clients out the back door. I lived it myself. And I decided to fix it.

This past year, Latch AI helped businesses surface hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue they didn’t even know they were losing. One client gained 77 paid appointments in eight weeks. Another grew retention by 3.6% in a single quarter.

Latch AI has been acquired by General Magic Inc., and I couldn’t be more proud of what we built.

This isn’t the end. It’s the beginning of what’s next.

Ask most founders what they’d do with unlimited money and they list the exits. The beach. The next thing.

Sean Clark, founder of HighLevel, said he’d do exactly what he does now. And he meant it.

Here’s the line that stuck with me: the secret of his life is that he learns way more from his customers than he could ever give back.

Sit with that. The person running the whole thing sees his customers as the teachers, not the transaction. He gets to watch people do things he has no skill at and just be in awe of them.

That is the whole game. Help people win at something simple. Watch them build something real off the back of it. Do it at scale.

Every burnt out entrepreneur is missing one of these three. Fear, courage, or vulnerability.

Everyone tells you to kill the fear. That’s the lie. No fear means the goal was too small. Courage can’t exist without it. And vulnerability is letting yourself be seen going after it anyway.

Stop waiting for the fear to leave. Let all three sit in the same room. That’s the version of you that unlocks the next level.
