Set up and ready at Wildlife Aid Open Weekend. My swifts and house martins are safe in one of the buildings so I can feed them during the day #wildlifeaidfoundation #swiftconservation #housemartinconservationuk&ireland #birdpaintings #swiftpaintings #wildlifepaintings by @alisoningram.art

The two smallest swifts currently in my care. Unfortunately I am unable to attend Global Birdfair this year due to the swift rehab work. Currently 6 swifts in my care but with temperatures hotting up again next week that is very likely to change #swiftconservation #swiftrehab #globalbirdfair by @alisoningram.art

After a very long summer hand rearing swifts and not getting much work done, I am back at Nature in Art as Artist in Residence. I will be working in the studio from 16th-21st September, hopefully I can remember how to paint as I have various commissions I must get on with. If you’re in the area do pop in and say hello.

My latest peg loom seat pad, a mix of locally sourced Mule and Ryeland fleece from a pet flock. This, along with other seat pads will be on display at Meet the Makers Day at Makers Barn in Petworth. Open 9am-7pm with lots of local crafts people demonstrating their work. Live music and tasty food available, it’s going to be a fun day #makersbarn_petworth #ryelandsheep #pegloom #petworth by @alisoningram.art

Singing swiftlets, lovely but it is constant and the little noisy one Thumbelina has taught her friend to join in. #swiftconservation #swiftlets by @alisoningram.art
