And last, but certainly no means least, is our final cohort announcement for Cohort #002. Please welcome Alison Ronayne from Ireland! 🇮🇪

Singer, Vocal Coach and Choir Conductor, Alison is the co-owner of Voiceworks Studio, a singing school in Cork, Ireland. Holding a first-class honours BA in Popular Music, Alison draws on her passion and knowledge of vocal technique when conducting her two community choirs of over 100 women.

Having a passion for harmonies since childhood, Alison began working with choirs in 2021 after years of singing and arranging backing vocals. Alison has been in a choir herself and sang with artists such as The Staves, Ben Howard, Angie MacMahon and Efterklang. Her choir has had the pleasure of performing with touring artists during their tour to Cork such as Leif Vollebeck, Angie MacMahon and Damien Rice and most recently in September 2025 performing at The National Concert Hall in Dublin.

Alison is passionate about community and creating a space where everyone feels at home and curious to explore their voice, and maybe even develop their own passion for harmonies.

Indie Choir singing Man in the Mirror at the National Concert Hall.

What an experience! I’m so proud of these ladies. This was their biggest performance to date and I think they did such a great job 💕

Happy International Women’s Day!!! 💕

A few snaps and videos from soundcheck at the National Concert Hall in September 2025 taken by the amazing @elle.ddan 📸 There’s more videos and pictures from the actual show somewhere - I’ll post them once I’ve found them!

Only getting around to posting these now 😅 In September 2025 I arrived home from 3 months of travelling Central America.
I landed back on Irish soil with a dodgy stomach (thanks Mexico🫠🤢🤣), had to move house, right back to teaching singing full time and straight into rehearsals with these lovely ladies (after not seeing them for 3 months). We were rehearing for this show in the National Concert Hall along with our participation in Sounds from a Safe Harbour festival 2025. Looking back at it now, I have no idea how I survived those 2 weeks 🤣 … Jet lagged, very nauseated but the pure joy of all of the amazing music kept me going!🤣🎶 Hence the backlog in posts. I’m only getting around to posting these now 😅

It was an absolute DREAM to be able to conduct my Indie Choir ladies at the National Concert Hall. A dream come true!! A big huge thank you to @eimearcrehanmusic for asking us to be part of her Grá Mór tour and show at the National Concert Hall. We got to sing a song solo as support for her show and were singing some of Eimear’s amazing songs too. More clips to be posted of these soon!

What a highlight of 2025 to be involved in the Sounds from a Safe Harbour festival! @soundsfromasafeharbour

Definitely this show in the Cork Opera House was a pinch me moment. Being in a choir of fantastic singers, singing with the Cork Opera House Concert Orchestra, AND getting to sing with amazing artists like @thestaves @angiemcmahon @efterklang @benhoward_ @leifvollebekk

What an amazing festival to have in Cork. Mary the organiser really is fantastic. She brings out the creativity in everyone and has such a magical way of getting people to collaborate and to create something new and beautiful 💕Roll on the next festival!!

The first three pics were taken by @bridodonovanphoto and the rest, I have no idea. I found them on my phone today and I certainly didn’t take them 😂
