We’re delighted to unveil a very special LDE London experience for summer 2027: seven days in the heart of the Languedoc, exploring this beautiful corner of France through its food, wine, markets, makers and people.

📅 26 June – 2 July 2027

Hosted by Dame Alison Price Becker of the New York Chapter at the beautiful Domaine Majou, this will be an intimate countryside escape with time to slow down, explore and — naturally — eat and drink extremely well.

Think…

🍅 bustling village markets in Mirepoix, Esperaza and Bram
🏰 the medieval magic of Carcassonne and Lagrasse
🍷 vineyard visits and regional wine tastings
🫒 artisan olive oil and vinegar producers
🦪 a seafood lunch on the Mediterranean coast
🥘 cassoulet country
🎶 a summer wine fête among the Malepère vineyards
🥂 and wonderful meals shared around the table

Six nights at Domaine Majou are included, together with daily breakfast, selected lunches and dinners, tastings, producer visits, local transport and a shared transfer from Toulouse.

This is about more than visiting France. It’s a chance to experience the food, wine, people and slower rhythm of southern France together.

Places are limited for this very special trip and Les Dames members and guests are welcome.

Tommy passed away last week.
Too soon.
All wrong.
Too sad.
Without him there would not have been the Alison On Dominick Street that it was.

Didn’t feel like doing anything, or maybe you did it all… you needed a snooze, so you went up to your room to tuck back into crisp cotton sheets, while the freshest breezes of cool, clean country air soothed you into a gentle nap. The linen curtains fluttering, filtering the light as the sun sets, and your senses are revived by scents coming from the kitchen or a waft of lavender or rosemary tickling your nose.
