I Love Seattle so much!! My home of many years, where I grew in all things real estate and was able to have some of the best friendships a girl could ask for. I am truly blessed across the board. @rollsroycemotorcarsseattle gifted me with a Cullinan to test drive for a few days while I was visiting seattle. She felt right and looked good.

I’m so grateful to have spent 13 years in Seattle. I love Seattle and miss every gift the city gave me: the beautiful views, amazing friends who are like family, a great career in real estate, and the chance to start my love affair with building and interior design. I ran so hard to build my book of business and my expertise, and now I’m reaping the rewards. I’m so blessed to have amazing opportunities like this and to be part of a team that has my back as much as I have theirs. Grateful to my @compasswashington @catalystgroupwa crew, and to @alitheguru for keeping the light on for me as a managing broker on our team @compass . If y’all only knew how many sacrifices had to be made for us to walk the path we’re on now... phew!! I’m forever grateful.

How did we do?

There are a lot of stories about builders. Some builders better than others. For the most part, builders get a bad reputation. Whether it’s being greedy on price or it’s not fixing an issue out of warranty. I’ve had the pleasure of working with this developer for the last few years and the things I’ve learned are beyond what I expected. The care and thought that went into this project was honestly more than needed. From sound suppression walls to strategic window placement, these homes were belt to be one of a kind. Very proud that I had the opportunity to work on this project.

Promoted to 🔵 and I am grateful 🤲🏽

Those who’ve been following my personal stories, know that I’ve been training BJJ for a couple years now. What originally started as a fitness journey, grew to become a routine. The experience itself is very humbling. The littlest dudes will put you to sleep or break your wrist. Makes you second guess the next time you catch road rage👀. I would go into class trying to figure out who’s going to fight me next but then you meet some really cool folks who aren’t trying to fight but just want to dance. They teach you things and allow you to learn while also practicing their techniques or maybe something they saw on tiktok. I was making friends and we all had a clear understanding that we are kins in training. The term iron sharpens iron became physically literal. What I once saw as my peers at the gym, I now view as my comrades in combat. It’s a different level of connection and I am honored to be apart of the @islajiujitsu community.

First, I want to extend my gratitude to my family for supporting me in this journey. My friends who’ve supported my comps and gave me tips on my injuries. From my very first class to my first stripe ➡️ my first nice gi ➡️ my first competition ➡️ my first loss ➡️ first win. I was never alone. I always had my brother, my professor beside me. Honorable s/o include Professor Jeff, prof Danny, prof Elmer, prof Bailey and prof Joyner who have all been a pinnacle piece to my learning. It wasn’t just one professor but a collection of each who either taught me something valuable that stuck or cared to watch me at some point and adjust something that worked for me. I never forget.
Other mentions including my brother Anthony, nephew Mauri, my brother Nick, Mark, Matt, Trent who all took time to teach me something or allow me to grow.
Mateo, Jyp, Gabe, Jayjay, David, Will, Nahomes, Mavae, entire 7 am class and lunch class and that one young white cop that work night shifts now - I don’t remember brothers name but I always enjoy crossing paths 😂 who all show me love everytime they see me in the lab. I appreciate you guys and you the reason why I still keep commuting 30 mins to get choked out lol

I’m just a son yearning to make my parents proud. The last 4 years I’ve been nominated for Best Real Estate Broker for 425’s Best In Business. I was convinced it was rigged until I received the notice that a small town son of immigrants won the award 🙏🏽

I know this will sound silly. It’s just a popularity contest and the award doesn’t mean anything… but it means a lot to me. Like many immigrant homes, you know the feeling of not being loved like how everyone else is loved. Love for us was through acts of service from our parents but it wasn’t enough. We want that hug, that “son I love you” or “I’m proud of you”. We are raised with the idea that we are supposed to be more successful than our successors bc of the sacrifices they made. So all I ever wanted to do is make my parents proud and allow them to feel good about the man I’ve become while they were still around. Took all my life but my parents finally shared those words with me.

But I couldn’t have done it without your support. Each and every single person who’s ever wished the best for me, nominated and voted for me, supported my family in any way, shared a post, wrote a good review, referred me to a family/friend, or just spoke positive about my family and I. Only with your support was I able to be named 425’s Best Real Estate Broker. Only with your accountability was I able to stay focused. I’ve been fired for projects I helped build, I’ve lost battles, sales were weak asf at times, not every home is a mansion… but I share it all with you bc I’m human. For the most part you see everything, not just the highlights but the low lights too. I share my entire journey with you and for those who’ve stuck around this far, thank you. For those who’s been rocking with this page since the Happy Sock photo grid days, thank you. Thank you for helping make this possible. Truly. Couldn’t have done it without my village ✊🏽 Guru Nation
