Earlier this year we found this GEM in one of the highest rated neighborhoods in Seattle w/ unobstructed views of Lake WA for $3M… Off Market 🤫

But that’s not what I wanted to share.

We closed on this amazing home just in time for Joanna’s birthday and throughout the entire process, this family made me feel like family. Checking on me to make sure I ate and bringing me lunch. Not just for me either… but extra food for me to take home and share with my family too. They even remembered me from working at Nordstrom 14 years ago and buying something from me (might be the mustache lol). When my family was injured, they brought us knee braces. Truly made me feel like I wasn’t just someone working FOR them, but someone working WITH them. That genuinely meant a lot to me.

This home we found off market after not seeing anything on the market that we were interested in. It’s a lot more work finding homes off market but when it comes to doing the work for people who care about you, it no longer feels like work. Joanna and Anthony thank you 🙏🏽 Can’t wait to see what you guys do with the home.

I got invited to come to the game and so I decided to capture everything and share with everyone what the experience is like.

Super Bowl bound 🔥🤟🏽

Every year we do a team retreat somewhere. A trip to allow us to connect and strengthen our bond as a unit. This last year we didn’t get to do that but I wanted to make sure we did something cool, if not cooler.
So the decision to take the team to the NFC Championship game was a no brainer! Best part of it all was that we were celebrating with all the 12s! Literally every play, the fans around us were going crazy. I’ve never hugged so many strangers lol. Someone told me they love me and reflex told them I love you too hahah. A moment I’ll always cherish. We’re going to the Super Bowl Seattle 🙌🏽

Seahawks Playoffs Review 🔥

For the first time ever, I went to a football game early to tailgate and I got to say… Seattle, it’s not our strong suit unfortunately 😅 lol. Our tailgate is low key embarrassing. BUT the energy and experience you get from the stadium and ACTUAL game is unmatched!!! Seahawks games are an experience.

Running into familiar faces and having a good time, while catching a W 🙌🏽. When you’re at a Seahawks game, everyone is on the same page and everyone around you is your friend. Be prepared to be high fived by people you may never see again. Someone bought me a beer and I don’t drink, so I gave it to a random Seahawks fan and he hugged me and bought me another drink lol. Good folks passing out free oysters. Everybody just so happy! In the last slide you’ll see what I’m talking about lol

Now, I’m not very good at watching the games when at the games (prefer watching at home). So missed the Lil Jon halftime show but I heard it was amazing. If you ever decide to go use the bathroom or leave your seat, expect to miss half a quarter lol. Club seats are the best seats in the stadium IMO. Suite hop if you get a chance to meet anyone in a suite. Walk the stadium, especially the club level because it’s where all the fun people are and you will almost always run into someone you know. Overall 10/10 experience and I would recommend it every time! Go Hawks! Let’s get that ship! 🙌🏽

To cool Dads 🍻 this one is for you.

This is for the dads that don’t complain. The dads that assume responsibility and ignore the pain. We’re all tired.
This is for the dads that know the game. I’m not talking COD. I’m talking doing things that we don’t want to do but have to do and our boys saying we don changed. They don’t get it.
This is for the dad’s chasing change. I’m talking dollar signs. Double OT to assure how they grow up and how WE grew up isn’t the same ✊🏽.
Cool dads. I see you.

I’m blessed and thankful to be a father. I can’t wait to see what my daughters do for this world. I’m making a monster out of me and can only imagine what my daughters will do!

No one is YOU’er than YOU!

I remember when I first started real estate… I joined a firm that told me to shave my mustache off and cut my mullet to fit the mold. They wanted me to cold call, knock on doors and send these cheesy video messages to my family and friends. They wanted me to focus on baby boomers because “millennials didn’t have money”. I used to make these entertaining videos on Snapchat and called it aliTV but then stopped because it wasn’t Tom Ferry enough for them. I wanted to be successful so bad that I changed who I was, in hopes to become the perfect product but instead became an imposter. For 6 months, I did not sell a single home and had drained through my savings. I was struggling, felt like no one wanted to help me and like I was left out to drown.

I had a conversation w/ one of my best friends who told me to be myself, stop trying to be like everyone else, and demand help if I needed it. He called me out and he was right. For 6 months I was posting homes on my social media thinking that I was promoting my product but then I realized that the product weren’t the homes. The product was me. So I grew my mustache back out, grew my mullet back out, and went back to aliTV. Alhamdullilah business has been BOOMING ever sense 🤲🏽

I hope these kids never forget who they are. Don’t get lost in the sauce. Being yourself goes a LONG way. Nobody is YOU’er than YOU!

@gofordsports is a sports performance academy aimed at taking students athletes to the highest level of education and sports. No other academy in the west coast produces and trains more collegiate athletes w/ full ride scholarships or professional athletes than Ford Sports Performance. FSP students have an increased chance of going professional.

I am honored to team with FSP in putting together this amazing workshop for a select few of their future collegiate students to talk about preparing for life on and off the field through real estate. The students shadowed me for the day as we showed them what a $30M asset looked like and broke down what it took to create it! 👏🏽

The REMODEL we’ve been waiting for 🙌🏽

It took exactly 12 months to finally have this home complete the way we visioned it. There were a lot of obstacles that we had to overcome and adjustments that needed to be made but it’s finally done.
When remodeling a home, take your time and don’t cheap out on anything! Someone else will see the value that you put in it and THAT person is your buyer. Anyone else that doesn’t see that value, they aren’t your buyer. There are too many quick cheap flippers in the market and this is not one of them!
