It’s taken me so long to post about the shows I did my last semester of college because for some reason, sharing how much they all meant to me really meant that they were over and their life cycle in my heart was finished. I obviously know that to not be true, and I’m also so proud of all of the work I was able to do with all of the amazing collaborators I had. I’ve reflected enough and though I can never fully express these thoughts, I can try. For those not mentioned either in picture or below, I promise these same sentiments extend to you, I just already have a monstrous amount of text in this post.

For The Seagull dir. @rowenbelle: What a privilege and pleasure it was to work with some of the most thoughtful creatives I’ve met. It was the least stressful project I’ve ever been a part of, and every day working on it felt as indulgent as a cheat day…

For Doe (also directed by Rowen and not pictured): Thank you for your patience with me as a new designer. The beauty and detail of the project genuinely made the work do itself.

For Hamlet dir. @emery_brandhorst: Half Naked Shakespeare…It was the best possible last experience in a club that has been so foundational in my theater experience. Designing and acting in such a phenomenal show will forever be one of my greatest honors, and I have nothing but pride for what we were able to accomplish.

For Blackademics dir…myself: The most compassionate team of people came together and helped me make something so important to me, it’s impossible to put into words how grateful I am that that show existed. There was not one person who didn’t give their all during maybe the worst time of the school year, and I am honored to have had that trust put in me. taken in Sarah Lawrence College by @alittlebitproblematic

i remember opening my acceptance letter for sarah lawrence on a rainy day while standing in the five points marta station leaving school. it wasn’t a great day, but that webpage with digital confetti made all the difference. thank you to everyone (students, faculty, and staff) for your acceptance of me, as it made all the difference, especially on every not so great day these last four years (and there weren’t many🥹) taken in Sarah Lawrence College by @alittlebitproblematic
