“It’s the first day of the new history…”

MARISOL is a classic play by José Rivera, and was the first of our 2026-27 season. It follows Marisol Perez as she navigates climate collapse, Nazi skinheads, and credit card debt while struggling to survive the 21st century apocalypse.

Amari Price-Cotten is a 22 year old recent graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and a multidisciplinary theatre artist who specializes in Shakespeare and straight plays, but is experienced in a multitude of forms of theater. This is her first show post grad, but during her time at Sarah Lawrence, she took part in shows such as Hamlet (Ghost, Gravedigger, Player King, and Costume Designer), Sense and Sensibility (John Willoughby), and the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Mitch Mahoney). She has experience Lighting Designing, Costume Designing, Directing, and Playwriting, and attended The British American Drama Academy in the Fall of ‘24.
