Moose, my sweet boy —I know you’re up there chasing the ball across some endless golf course, stretched out in the cool grass, tearing into your crinkly bunny, feasting on roast beef. Exactly as it should be.You were my best friend through every version of my life. You dragged me out of bed and onto the beach every morning during the hardest year of my life, after my divorce. You gave Stewy your blessing the first time you let him take you for a walk and curl up beside you. Got to visit the 82nd edition of the Whitney Biennial this morning! This year’s show features 56 artists, and focuses on various forms of relationality including those between families, humans and animals, geopolitical entanglements, and more. I was particularly struck by @emilielouisegossiaux’s work, which explores their relationship with their seeing eye dog, London. Gossiaux’s primary work in the exhibition is the first picture in my post, titled Kong Play, and is made of 100 handmade ceramic Kong toys - their take on what a perfect afterlife for London would look like, who passed in September 2025.#whitneybiennial #newyorkart #artadvisory #monticulepicks by @alittlehill

The Hill Art Foundation presents The Lost Beauty of Humankind, an exhibition, curated by David Levi Strauss, that brings Robert Bergman’s portraits into conversation with Old Master paintings from my family’s collection.Marking Bergman’s first major presentation since 2009, the exhibition features his large-scale photographs of individuals encountered on American streets between 1985 and 1993. Shown alongside works by artists such as Peter Paul Rubens and Jacopo Bassano, as well as Andy Warhol and Frank Auerbach, the show reveals a shared human dignity that endures across time, medium, and place.“The Lost Beauty of Humankind” is on view at @hillartfoundation through April 11, 2026. by @alittlehill

Reflecting back on this @artbasel Magazine piece by @arteaterlondon after spending the last few days in Miami! Her works blend color, light, and shadow to confuse the eye - turning simple shapes into complex illusions.
