Today is my birthday I’m gonna bloom anyway. I wanna thank God for being a promise keeper. It feels like I have witnessed too much after my mom passed. So many things have changed and altered my existence. I often think about what she would say if she was here to witness all the experiences I’ve had since 26. My artwork has been to places that I haven’t seen or touched globally. What would she say about who I am as person and what type of relationship would she have with my son? I didn’t make any plans for my birthday this year because God told me he was gonna plan everything for me and build a table with people I love and trust to celebrate life with . Every day is a new day to start over . This year is very different I’m older I’m wiser and I thank God for everything I am nothing without him. Just painted a Mata Bus for @ridemata “Daydream” is a MATA bus mural that visualizes the
Memphis imagination.
A passenger rides with headphones, eyes closed
listening to the beat local music. Her daydream
transforms the city into surreal, abstract dream
world : the Hernando de Soto Bridge becomes
melody, the Pyramid becomes bass, the Levitt Shell
becomes chorus, the Memphis Zoo becomes rhythm.
Sun and moon rise across a winding road — the daily
path to work, the path of life — showing that from
sunup to sundown, Memphis music turns the daily
grind into something sacred.
It’s a MATA bus about what the city sounds like when
you close your eyes on your commute . A daydream

I just painted a mural on a Mata Bus !!! Wednesday the bus will be revealed on Beale street . I found this note in my paint supplies while working on the bus that reads “you are enough”. The amount of blessings headed my way are never insurmountable, God has been my strength and greatest resource since day one . We dropped this piece off in Holly Springs and it made the cover of the news paper. I put a lot into this design to celebrate the history of Holly Springs but to also touch on where the city is going next. Thanks again for believing and trusting my creative vision. The Anchor will be opening soon and we left our mark. God has blessed my hands and continues to provide while he drives the ship through storms unimaginable . Former Fedex Employee creates personal portrait for Fred Smith’s Family!!! Yesterday I was hired to paint live at the renaming ceremony of the new Fredrick W. Smith International AirPort this is what I created live on stage , a Portrait of Fred Smith in front of large audience of Fedex corporate staff and AirPort members. During my college years I worked at FedEx at night and never in a million years would I have thought that I would be creating this painting for the Smith family. My largest mural to date is being unveiled today . It’s a collaboration with @urbanartmemphis and the city of Memphis so pull up. I put a few family and friends in the design it’s titled Hope For Tomorrow!!!! It’s about Faith Family and community and how love can be a cure to inspire Hope. Come by today 11 -12 to the Flood Wall and experience art that speaks to our community.
