After 10+ years in the game, I finally got to experience @advertisingweek NY for the first time.

At @creativetheoryagency we have line that goes “No one has to be a leader all of the time, but everyone has to be a leader some of the time”. For me, that “some of the time” came last week when our CEO, @tamon_ asked me to hold it down in his stead. I did my best, but words aren’t enough to convey the hustle, diligence, and dedication that our team put in to carve out our lane and establish our POV.

Last week was definitely a career highlight that wouldn’t have been possible without @creativetheoryagency and @breannashamara’s vision + dot connecting. Finally, incredibly grateful to @mishtastic19, @justjosefina, and Richelieu Dennis for saying “yes” and sharing the stage with us.

Trust the process. Collaborate with your peers. Do the work. That **** really works.

On August 10, 2014 I taught my first yoga class as a certified yoga instructor. Who knew we’d still be here a decade later. ⚡️

Great ideas need vision – and the right leadership to help turn that vision into action.

We’re grateful to have Alix bringing his strategic mindset, thoughtful questions and big-picture perspective to Nourish to Flourish.

His leadership challenges us to think differently, push beyond the obvious and stay focused on creating meaningful, lasting impact for the women and children of Lotus House.

Last weekend I had led a yoga flow for @wellnxt_global’s inaugural WellNXT Miami x Fest as a part of @wellistweek.

As a Miami native, it’s been interesting to see the many ways the city is changing. The transformation to a global hub for yoga and wellness more broadly is a welcome change. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this cultural shift. by @alixmontes
