Even with identical glaze, clay, and production methods, the outcome of pottery can vary significantly. Glazing, a complex aspect of pottery, offers a multitude of techniques for application. The final appearance is influenced by factors such as the quantity of glaze applied, contributing to the diverse results observed in pottery.

I enjoy painting on canvas, yet I must emphasize that painting on pottery, especially on a bisque surface, provides a distinctly different experience when compared to traditional canvas painting. However, the satisfaction derived from witnessing the results is truly rewarding.

Creating a final product involves numerous stages, processes, and preparations, and pottery is certainly no exception. In this video, everything appears to be moving at an accelerated pace. I wish I could work as quickly in reality! 😄

Hello friends,
After a hiatus of almost a year, I'm back on the 'gram! 🎉
The beautiful picture above, courtesy of my dear friend Yashi (@books_bakes_drapes), served as a poignant reminder of how much I've missed the comforting touch of clay and the thrill of creating something new in my studio. 🎨

In the time I've been away, I've celebrated my daughter's fairytale wedding (👰💍), and moved not once, but twice! Yes, you read that right - I've lived in three different states within a single year. Talk about a whirlwind! 🏠🚚

Now, I'm trying to find my rhythm again, settling into my makeshift studio. The uncertainty of where I'll be next is mostly a fun, exciting, and enriching experience, but I'll admit, it can be a tad frustrating at times. 🎭

But hey, that's life, right? And I'm thrilled to be sharing mine with you once again. Stay tuned for more updates from my pottery world! 🌍🏺

Thank you for your unwavering support. 🙏

My last firing in Bangalore!
Yes, I have moved from Bangalore to Ahmedabad (hope will return back soon🤞🏻). And still working through the physical and emotional chaos of settling down in a new place. Hope to resume pottery soon.
