Last night, we held Create for the Children of Congo in partnership with @allaccessarts_ and @midnightbooksla ❤️🇨🇩

We showcased more than 150 pieces of artwork created by children across Eastern Congo, creating a space for their voices, stories, dreams, and experiences to be seen and heard through their art.

Throughout the evening, we came together to create watercolor paintings, cards, letters, and messages of love for children in Congo while raising awareness about the mass human rights violations occurring across the region, as well as the ongoing impacts of imperialism, oppression, exploitation, and violence.

Thank you so much to @allaccessarts_ @penelopethepowerfulpoet for organizing such a beautiful and powerful exhibition and for allowing these children’s voices and artwork to reach our community here in Los Angeles. Thank you to our wonderful volunteer and photographer @leeazurite who helped organize and run this event so beautifully! Thank you to @midnightbooksla for sharing such a beautiful and impactful space with us, and thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday evening and filled the room with so much love, creativity, and solidarity.

Their stories deserve to be told, their dreams deserve to be seen, and their voices deserve to be heard.

When we told our children that All Access Arts appreciates their work and wants to make their creations known internationally, with high visibility in the United States, their faces lit up. They were deeply happy, proud, and encouraged. For them, seeing their art cross borders is much more than recognition: it is proof that their voice matters, that their story exists, and that their dreams can travel farther than the walls of their daily lives. Other children and communities have joined us, carried by that same hope.

Our child protection program through the arts was born from a simple and urgent conviction: art protects. It gives children a safe space, a way to express themselves, to heal, and to dream. It helps keep them from joining armed groups, and it helps young girls escape early and forced marriage. Every drawing, every painting, every creation is a barrier against violence and an open door to the future. When these children see organizations like All Access Arts believing in them, they believe again that it is possible to become the person they dream of being.

Thank you infinitely to All Access Arts for valuing our children’s artworks, for treating them with dignity, and for helping them be heard beyond borders. Your attention changes lives. Your support reminds these children that they are not forgotten.

To everyone in the United States: our exhibition is in Los Angeles starting today, October 2, 2026. Come see these works. Share them. Speak about them. Invite friends, schools, media, cultural institutions, and partners. Every visit, every share, and every gesture of support helps protect a child, keep a young girl in school, keep a child away from armed groups, and turn pain into art—and art into a future. This is not just an exhibition. It is a promise made to childhood. @allaccessarts_

We are so excited to announce that Enduring Colors is now a traveling exhibition, with our first debut of the tour, at the @amnesty Regional Activism Conference.

In our gallery, with artwork from over 100 of our friends in Palestine and Lebanon, you’ll hear their stories of hope, their dreams, and their message to the world. Through interactive activities, art you can truly understand what our action for human rights means on a personal level: showing each child their voice, their life, and that they matter

Many of the pieces depict the total collapse of healthcare in Gaza alongside the heroic aid workers who have lost their lives caring for others. You can take action to free Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, a Palestinian pediatrician and neonatologist who served as the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital. During a raid in December 2024 on the hospital, he refused to abandon his patients and leave the children and babies in the NICU to be die. Dr. Abu Safiya was kidnapped from the Kamal Adwan Hospital and has since been held and tortured in Israeli detention. Through investigations and evidence obtained by @amnesty, Dr. Abu Safiya is in critical condition and will die if he is not released. He is being held without formal charges or trial under Israel’s Unlawful Combatant Law. Dr. Abu Safiya never stopped caring for hundreds of children, many of whom’s artwork touches our hearts in the exhibition despite the ongoing killings including his own 15 year old son. From Palestine to Los Angeles, we will never forget him, and will continue to advocate for his immediate release.

Together, let’s shine our Enduring Colors, and ignite our light connecting art to direct actions 🕯️💛 by @allaccessarts_

Composed of drawings, paintings, and collages from over 150 children from the Eastern Region of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), The Invisible Voices Exhibition (named by the children at @invisible_kids_academy243) is a raw depiction of childhood during the genocide.

From an interconnected and intersectional lens, the exhibition raises awareness about imperialism, mass human rights violations including mineral mining for technology, gender based violence, colonization, the healthcare crisis and Ebola outbreak, displacement, and the consequences of gutting USAID. Through our gallery foreword, written by children at @the_sisters_creative_hub_congo hear the children’s messages of hope, joy, community, and resilience. Through interactive activities throughout the gallery, learn how you can take action for a Free Congo.

Our gallery is for all ages, backgrounds, and knowledge levels, and includes a gallery scavenger hunt centered around Congolese culture for little ones, alongside stations where you can show your love through memory books and videos, and listen to French melodies of peace from a playlist composed of each child’s favorite songs.

By sharing Congolese culture and the beauty of the Congo Basin Rainforest through paintings of animals and conservation, you’ll learn how youth-led, grassroots initiatives have taken action on the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals and climate justice.

Above all, you’ll learn how we can upgrade our humanity and solidarity, not our tech ❤️🇨🇩

Please comment, support, share, and visit our gallery, and stay tuned for an exciting announcement! by @allaccessarts_
