PURPOSEFUL SYMBIOSIS OF A CAFE/BOOKSTORE/PUBLICATION HOUSE:

Whenever I visit a new place, it is a mandatory ritual for me to grab books from local authors.
If not the local writers, who else can offer a profound lens of the cultural landscape? Writers can intricately weave the spirit, sentiments, and socio-political hues of a place and I trust them more. (Because I am a writer too I trust my tribesmen 😂)

I was fortunate to stumble upon @cafe.fiction ! Nestled in the heart of the city, the quaint cafe beckons with its irresistible charm—a haven for connoisseurs of both good food and great books 🤍

More than anything, @rachnabooks is dedicated to championing the narratives of young writers within its community. This literary venture becomes more than just ink on paper; it transforms into a vibrant platform, a megaphone amplifying the voices of the budding wordsmiths within its community and beyond. I thought I was fasting from food.
I did not know God would ask me to lay down so much more.
My expectations.
My timelines.
My need to know what comes next.
The things I kept trying to control.
The prayers I was afraid might remain unanswered.
There were days when I had no beautiful words for God. Just tears. Just silence. Just a heart that kept returning to Him because there was nowhere else I wanted to go.
Some nights, prayer was all I had.
And somewhere between hunger and surrender, I began to understand that fasting is not about proving how much I can endure. It is about discovering how much I need Him.
I came into these forty days carrying questions. I leave carrying something deeper—a quieter faith, a more surrendered heart, and a gratitude I cannot quite put into words.
Three prayers have been answered.
One is still in His hands.
And somehow, I am still at peace.
Because the greatest thing this fast gave me was not an answer.
It gave me a deeper awareness of the One I was praying to.

Thank You, Lord, for meeting me in the secret place.
For every unseen moment.
For every grace I did not deserve.
For every time You held me together when I could not hold myself.
Forty days completed.
But this was never about counting days.
It was about learning to walk with You.

Some things God does are too deep to keep to myself.
Some prayers are answered too precisely to call coincidence. Some details carry His fingerprints too clearly to stay silent.
So I’ll keep sharing.
Keep testifying.
Keep praising.
Not for attention, but out of gratitude.
Not to be understood, but because He has been faithful.
I have seen Him work.
And I have a thousand reasons to tell the story.

Sometimes, the biggest battle isn't believing that God can do it, but believing that He will do more than we can imagine.
I’ve caught myself remembering the disappointments more than the miracles, focusing on what seems impossible instead of remembering who God is.
But Ephesians 3:20 reminds me: He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.
So, I’m choosing faith again.
Choosing to dream again.
Choosing to believe again.
Who am I to deny what the Lord can do?
He is more than able. 🤍

There are some moments you cannot plan for.
You simply receive them with gratitude.

This video was one of those moments for me. Never in my wildest imagination did I think that a student would one day choose to write a project on my book.

A book that began as something deeply personal—something I wrote when I was a student, raw and young—has travelled farther than I ever imagined. And today, it came back to me in the form of this beautiful surprise.

Thank you, Dr. @anjanbehera , for bringing light into this work and for sharing it with me.

And Miss Gwasinle Semy, thank you for giving my work a place in your own learning and exploration. I genuinely look forward to meeting you soon and seeing what you have created.

Today, I am simply grateful. And deeply encouraged 🤍

Mission objective: Bring noodles. Share it with love.

A small knot. A simple reminder that faith was never meant to be lived alone.

A quiet promise woven into a wrist

Friendship isn't scheduled. Sometimes it just happens between games and grace.

Some conversations happen with words. Others begin in worship.

Every meal carries the fingerprints of the people who made it.

A good meal deserves gratitude. The ladies blessed us with some incredibly tasty noodles, and the gents expressed their thanks in the simplest way possible—by washing the dishes. by @allanaley
