🍒Rwenzori Mountains, Uganda - Anaerobic Natural

A vibrant, versatile Ugandan with the clarity to shine as espresso, batch brew or pour over offering exceptional character and value.

Expect black cherry, pomegranate molasses and bright berry acidity, layered with a rich, syrupy body and a clean, lingering finish.

We chose the Orea dripper because its flat bed and high-flow design pull out the bright, vibrant juiciness we love. It lets us extract those high top notes and wild acidity while keeping the heavy natural processing balanced.
This is what works best with our gear and water—tweak your variables to match your setup!
• 15g to 250g | Orea Dripper | 93c with kettle off after bloom
• Bloom: 50g (35 sec) + gentle swirl to unlock max juiciness
• Pour 1: Tight circular pour to 135g
• Pour 2: Straight-down-the-middle pour to 250g (keeps fines settled for a clean finish)
Result: ~17% extraction, massive fruit juiciness, syrupy texture, and satisfying balance. by @allcaps_coffee

Daye Bensa is one of Ethiopia’s most celebrated producers. Extreme altitude, 161 dedicated local farmers, and 16–20 days on raised beds lock in clarity and amplify the region’s unique character.

Tropical fruit punch 🥭🍍🍊🌸

Ethiopia Shantawene - Anaerobic natural has landed.

Over 1400 smallholder producers, rich volcanic soil, and 2000m altitude in the Bombe mountains - this lot is a demonstration of what that community delivers at its best.

A showcase of the tropics in a single cup- mango, passionfruit, lychee and quava all showing up and showing off. Juicy, clean and versatile with lots of fun expressions to be found across brew methods.

We couldn’t buy as much of this one as we would’ve liked so it won’t be sticking around for long.
