The Ten Tins- the story behind the story- in reverse! I love themes and stories that illuminate the truths we take for granted, the ones that give a wink, a smile- the things that manage to connect us all in some obscure way. Amazing how something as simple as a “cookie” tin can offer that. As we continue to navigate these divisive, cortisol-inducing times- I pray we can find more cookie tin moments to see the humanity in one another. I’m super excited for this one. Thank you all for being part of this story’s story. 💕💕💕 Coming October 20th. by @alliago

Love a great full circle moment!!! Over the moon to celebrate my second collaboration with incredible Big Tune illustrator and now NYT Best-selling illustrator @shamarknightjustice and my third with the fantastic @janine614 thanks to the 🔥🔥 @jemiscoe. CAN WE GO YET? Is a rhyming ode to kids everywhere who are ready to go but have a parent who, uh, has the gift of gab. 😬 This goes out to my family and friends in Buffalo, especially my First Shiloh Baptist Church family, where the parishioners love the Lord… and their 🦬 Bills. Coming from @mackidsbooks in 2028!! by @alliago

This just in! 😍🤩 From another influencer I have never ever seen or met in my whole entire life. I hear she reads a lot of books, so I’d trust her taste. It also sounds like her family is trying to break generational trauma with the whole cookie-filled cookie tin thing. What thoughtful parents she must have… 🤪 #thetentins by @alliago

It ☔️ during our StoryWalk rain date after all, but thank you to my friends, family, the @judywestongarden and Montclair PRCA for bringing the 🌞! Stop by the garden through October to read Scarecited with your little (and big) ones! Welcome back to school, everyone. ✏️ May they be more excited than scared.
