It’s hard to say goodbye to this chapter of my life that’s been open for the last 17 years.
I could not be more grateful for all of the lifelong friendships that I was able to form because of this sport. We may have started as teammates but our friendships will last long past whenever we last shared a field together.
I’m honored to have worn this Stanford jersey these last 4 years. Getting to live out my childhood dreams and play on the biggest stage in the sport has been such an unforgettable experience.
Thank you softball for teaching how to keep pushing when things get tough, and showing me that I was stronger than I ever knew. I’ll be forever thankful for all the love, laughter, tears, and heartbreak this sport brought me, both the highs and the lows. These memories will never be forgotten.
I hope that I left an impact on the game half as big as it left on me. I loved every moment and I wouldn’t change a thing for the world.
So thank you softball, for everything❤️ by @allie.clements_
