What a beautiful weekend of creativity, connection, and sewing! 🧵✨ I had the opportunity to teach a sewing class at a beautiful apartment community, and it was such a joy seeing everyone learn, create, and build confidence behind the machine. 🤍

Intimacy with God✨ = unexplainable peace

📍Lake Malawi, the largest lake in the world 🌎

Recently I encountered a deeper level of intimacy with God.

Intimacy with God: To be comfortable with the silence. To be still. To be “present”. Just you and God. Nothing or no one else. The “secret place”, there he replenishes you, fills you up with strength and endurance for the day, he does many things in this time but one the most important things that happens in these moments is that your getting to know him, you’re getting to know his voice for yourself. You can’t really know someone if you don’t spend time with them. For instance picture this, you’re trying to get to know someone right, so imagine trying to talk to them but they’re constantly getting up, moving, talking etc. That would be frustrating. Our relationship with God is the same. I learned recently how much God really desires to just spend time with me. And the same applies to every single person. Those who haven’t talked to him in a while. He loves you sooo much and he desires to spend time with you no matter who you are ❤️
I encountered a deeper level of peace when I started spending this special time with God, and as a creative, I can sing, I can dance, I can write, etc in this time with him❤️❤️❤️✨ it’s so sweet taken in Lake Malawi, Central Africa. by @allie_capo
