All of my life for Jesus. Knowing Jesus since I was 5 years old, I knew this was the next step - I just hadn’t taken it.

On this wonderful day, I became obedient to the call of baptism. What a glorious day! I feel so humbled and blessed to have had so many people there physically and in spirit supporting me - the same ones who encourage and support me through my walk everyday. I am thankful to OBU and UBC Shawnee for creating the opportunity for me to take this step.

Now… I will continue loving, serving, and discipling others in hopes that one would turn into many.

Thank you Jesus for Your patience, Your love, Your kindness, and Your goodness. All of this is for You. For Your glory. And for Your honor. May my life please You and further Your Will and Your Kingdom. Amen. by @allisoneryan

Happy birthday to my favorite guy! You are all things good. Thank you for always making me laugh, leading us in life and faith, loving me unconditionally, and of course rage baiting me till I have nothing else to say.

Your work ethic, determination, and drive inspire me more than you know and I am so proud to call you mine. I love chasing Jesus with you, listening to you speak science, supporting you as you chase your dreams, and hitting endless amounts of golf balls together.

Softball may seem like a game. But it’s life in a bubble. Wins. Losses. Success. Failure. Adversity. Leadership. Controllables. Uncontrollables. Team. Family. Friendship. Hard work. The best team doesn’t always win.

Well… the same goes for life. It’s a game with failure and heartbreak. But doesn’t life too? The only thing we really control is ourselves. Life too?

Softball isn’t who I am but it’s grown me into the woman I am. Softball isn’t my life but it has taught me how to live life. Live it fearlessly, in community, fighting for each other for one goal.

Fearlessly? Because Jesus is King. Community? My fellow brothers and sisters. One goal? Spread the gospel to every person you meet.

That’s life. That’s softball. That’s everything you do.

Mom, thank you for reminding me to always have fun. No matter what. Thank you for being my loudest supporter, reminding me that my best is good enough and to trust the work I put in.

Dad, thank you for the beginning. For coaching the Pink Sox. For reminding me to stay frosty, laugh a little bit, and to not let the pressure get so heavy.

Thank you both for protecting my love for this game over an accolade or a big name.

Thank you to family and friends who love and support me constantly. Whether at the game or from afar - I am truly blessed.

Thank you to the coaches who believed in me, invested in me, taught me life lessons, and reminded me that my spiritual growth is more important than any championship or accolade. Thank you for teaching me to fall in love with the process.

Thank you to every teammate who loved me, pushed me, and encouraged me. Belief begins within, but it grows with those around you.

There is nothing I would trade the past 19 years of softball for. From tee ball to D2 collegiate regional games. Every loss, every tear shed, every bruise, every late night in the cages has shaped me into who I am supposed to be.

So while my heart is heavy, I feel joy. I feel grateful that my gracious Heavenly Father gave me the game of softball, lifelong friends, and mentors and taught me life through every moment. What a ride!! Thank you Bison nation for the best 4 years. 🤟🏼
